The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to provide an exceptional experience! The room was nice and cozy- it got pretty cold but the provided heater and extra blankets made all the difference. The location was good, especially if you have a car or can order one to take you to nearby La Paz or the Poas Volcano. We did not have a car for the second day of our stay, but found it easy to walk down the main road and find lots of cute shops and restaurants :) Try the strawberries if you get a chance!

Charming two level cabin in a remote location, but convenient for an early morning visit to Poás Volcano. We were just 2 people but the cabin has sleeping for at least 10 people as well as a kitchen with hob, fridge freezer and wood fireplace, plus WiFi. The views are spectacular! Lots of blankets which came in handy as this was the coldest area we stayed in CR! Host was lovely and was waiting for us to guide us on where to park as waze was going to take us further down the track! Make sure you let her know your arrival time.
