With mountain views, Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca is set in Heredia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Great location. Very nice rooms. Dinner was fantastic with my favorite Chilean wine (Laura Hartwig). Also breakfast was very good.

Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge is located at the middle elevations of the Costarican rainforest, known as Horquetas de Sarapiqui. This rural community is full of activities and lush tropical gardens. What a wonderful place! Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Far away from the crowded places at the border of the Braulo Carillo National Park. Enjoy pure Costa Rican jungle with just a few others, no mass tourism here. The staff; Pedro, Luis and Alba are really great people who want to give you the best time ever. The cabins are basic but sufficient and are located in the middle of the jungle. The meals where delicious and Alba really did a great job with the food. Luis en Pedro guided some great night tours through the jungle. I sure will be back in the future.

With garden views, Selva Verde Lodge is situated in Sarapiquí and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Hotel was exactly as described . An oasis in the rainforest. However what made our stay was the prompt help from staff when i twisted my ankle and they arranged for a doctor. There’s nothing more telling about a place than how they deal with things going wrong. So grateful for every they did .

With garden views, Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat is situated in Puerto Viejo and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace. It was stunning. The rooms were more like apartments. The staff were wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
