This is the place you should be in Lijiang especially when you can not speak chinese. Joye King, the manager of this hotel who can speak fluent English and very intelligent, knows what where when..everything. He and volunteer staffs like Jade, Cassie are extremely kind. The chef Chang Ke made good meal . They can arrange transportation, day trip and so on. The room is very tide and clean, The location(in Lijiang old city) is perfect for tour food and entertainment. I stayed here 5days first(from Dec.28~Jan.1, and another one night at Jan .4 because I want to see them again. We made good friends, enjoyed parties. Thanks to them I really enjoy my first stay in Winnan though I could hardly speak chinese. I miss them, and I think I will be there again.

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.

Excellent boarding choice in Bai shao. The room is cozy and comfortable with a nice court yard. The hosts are friendly. However, it's regrettable that the host wouldn't serve breakfast any more. Otherwise, having breakfast in the court yard would be a nice experience.

This is a small inn right in the historical center of Lijiang, just off one of the main streets. The staff is extremely friendly, where you are welcomed with tea and fresh fruit. They helped me out with everything, really impressive. The room is very comfortable with all amenities you can expect. I’ll come back when I have the opportunity!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jayden Lodge Homestay. Johnson and Carole were so welcoming and friendly, we felt like home at their place. It was really appreciable to speak English with them, they are also really happy to share and to help. The bedroom was really big and bright, and it was greatly atypical to stay in an old naxi house. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend!
