Very nice hotel, friendly stuff. The location is perfect, you have a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms could be a little bigger, but it was very clean. The rooftop terrace and pool was the best thing with an amazing view! The breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was very good!

Hotel Madeira is a 3-star hotel in Funchal's city centre, close to shops and restaurants. It offers free WiFi access. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. We came for just a few days to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the local nature. Very friendly and helpful staff gave us a nice surprise! Breakfast is not very varied, but we liked it. There is a small swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, which we used once. The roof offers a beautiful view of the city and the sunrise. As for the room, we liked the good soundproofing and water pressure:) Everything was very nice.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. perfectly located. you can even walk to Funchal city centre from there. great, welcoming staff. possibility to access two pools (the hotel’s) and one at the sister hotel across the street (easily accessible). will come back

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. We stayed over Easter weekend, and it was just perfect. Great room, spacious & bright, comfy bed with fresh crisp bed linen, modern decor, nice clean bathroom with toiletries & plentiful towels. Super buffet breakfast. Location was perfect, right in the centre. We stayed a couple of nights and would've stayed at the end of our holiday too, but it was fully booked, unfortunately. We would definitely stay there again.if
