The food was awesome and nicely prepared and scrumptious. The lady attending to us Tsitsi was more than attentive the chef Jack attention to detail when it comes to food. The cleanliness of the room the serene surroundings and nature around impacable structure of the chalets how the pool area is positioned. It was my partners birthday so he was amazed beyond measure the bathroom ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️, the bed I slept so peacefully it's not funny. Lovely town, great mountain views, mining history, friendly people, relatively quiet. Marakele Game Reserve is nearby. It also offers great restaurants with a wide variety of foods. In summer, it is usually very hot and therefore I will recommend sun protection.

Be prepared to experience a very hot climate! Thabazimbi is home to the Marakele Nature Reserve. Beautiful farmlands welcome you as you take the last turn-off to the right towards Thabazimbi town. The tent is quite spacious and has the necessary facilities, equipment and comfort for a self-catering venue. The tent has an air-conditioner which is helpful in the Thabazimbi heat. I also liked the Jacuzzi outside the tent and the patio where we could enjoy our breakfast. We spotted some animals in the lodge. The Waterpark was a hit for kids and adults. The pools were clean, and not overcrowded, the residents and day visitors were well-mannered. The water kept us cool during the entire stay.

Monika, Dave and their dogs are lovely. We had Dinner there on both nights which is freshly cooked by Monika & I can highly recommend! Also the breakfast was delicious. But the best of all is the view! Every Morning you get spoiled by a great sunrise! Thanks for having us!
