I like the private villa. We can utilize the kitchen and refrigerator. It's actually great for family trip. And still can visit Sambolo beach nearby. But, not really comfortable compare to other tourist beach in Bali.

As I saw over in booking.com looking good but actually is different, it is bad aspecially bathroom shower was not working properly, No soup, shampoo and tissue. Also receiptionist as additional charge. I told her I already paid in booking.com but she told minimum hotel payment IDR 250.000.

Nearest beach to Jakarta .... max 2-1/2 ~ 3 hrs drive. Good toll connection and non-toll part is quite improved now ! Not many great hotels as all old ones are quite run down ! But few new excellent options have come up like Novus Jiva / Aston / Double G etc and they have great facilities and view settings. Chose depending on what you like......resort setting Or beach ?? This is not Bali Or Phuket ...so don't raise your expectations too high ! Few nice sea-food joints opposite Marbella and along the stretch...can't remember the names as all look similar !

There are some nice hotels for relaxing on a weekend away. *You can visit Anyer Lighthouse for 30,000 Rp to take some photos and read some information in bahasa Indonesia. *Karang Bolong is a beach where you can see a natural arch made from stone, with a long stretch of sandy beach. *25 mins away by car is Carita beach where day trips to Kraratoa leave from. Housekeeping was excellent. Staff at the restaurant were very attentive and even offered to bring us coffee or other stuff even when breakfast was a buffet. Not a lot of choices for food, though. The surrounding area is conducive for walking and relaxing espeially when you have small kids.
