    Nearest beach to Jakarta .... max 2-1/2 ~ 3 hrs drive.

    Nearest beach to Jakarta .... max 2-1/2 ~ 3 hrs drive. Good toll connection and non-toll part is quite improved now ! Not many great hotels as all old ones are quite run down ! But few new excellent options have come up like Novus Jiva / Aston / Double G etc and they have great facilities and view settings. Chose depending on what you like......resort setting Or beach ?? This is not Bali Or Phuket ...so don't raise your expectations too high ! Few nice sea-food joints opposite Marbella and along the stretch...can't remember the names as all look similar !

    *Anyer is a 2.5 hour drive from Jakarta, an easy drive.

    *Anyer is a 2.5 hour drive from Jakarta, an easy drive. There are some nice hotels for relaxing on a weekend away. *You can visit Anyer Lighthouse for 30,000 Rp to take some photos and read some information in bahasa Indonesia. *Karang Bolong is a beach where you can see a natural arch made from stone, with a long stretch of sandy beach. *25 mins away by car is Carita beach where day trips to Kraratoa leave from. This takes 1.5 hours by boat.

    People need to start coming back to this area.

    People need to start coming back to this area. It's a very manageable trip by car from Jakarta. Beaches are nice, people are wonderful and they need tourism again to help them recover from the tsunami of December 2018.

    The room was clean, pillows smell good unlike other hotels with sweat-smelling pillows and discolored sheets. Housekeeping was excellent. Staff at the restaurant were very attentive and even offered to bring us coffee or other stuff even when breakfast was a buffet. Not a lot of choices for food, though. The surrounding area is conducive for walking and relaxing espeially when you have small kids.

    The room, the interior of our room, private pool, the view of beach of course so close with our room n also all the staff is kind n room service is good too when prepare anything we need. It all excellent. Thanks to Mr. Yazher one of the staff who makes all the things in my room going well .The breakfast so woww.. amazed. So instagramable.

    We loved the pools at the hotel and the beach, and the beach itself. It never felt very busy even though it was fully booked, The hotel layout is spacious. Coffee in the rooms is good. Balcony is nice with a good view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good shuttle service to the beach.

    NoVis Jiva is set in a stunning location (directly opposite Krakatoa) and is a beautiful hotel with spacious areas. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and the food in general was superb.
