The hotel was in an excellent location to visit Windsor Castle, the restaurants around it were really good, the hotel was spotless clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was my husband's birthday and they left a card and chocolates, they also upgraded us which was brilliant.
A big thank you to the hotel for being very accommodating by upgrading our room, leaving a birthday card & chocolates for my husband, moving car park spaces and not charging us for the car park space due to us scuffing our alloy - so a big thank you to the hotel it was really appreciated.

From the moment you drive up, you know this castle-esque property is something special. The lobby is stunning and fresh flowers are everywhere. We loved the flavored water upon welcome and the attention to detail in the decor is second to none. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago.
Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago. It was so small that we both couldn’t get dressed in the room together! The price we paid, we expected better facilities! Reception was disorganised and the breakfast was chaotic! Didn’t even get a clean table to sit and eat !
Premier Inn is better than this hotel!
No lifts to our rooms nor any help provided to climb two stairs with our luggage!
Not worth the money you paid!

Windsor is very attractive, beautiful buildings, the castle is fabulous and ever present as you go about the city. We went early in the season( April) and the as the castle isn't open to visitors tues/wed the town / riverside etc was very quiet which was lovely. We were leaving thurs afternoon and visited the castle first thing , we had booked our tickets online which we were very pleased of because of the queues. It was fantastic walking around the staterooms and grounds of the castle- extraordinarily beautiful and very interesting and quite moving to have access to st George's chapel.
Suddenly the streets were heaving with people and school parties.
There are lots of places to eat - mostly chains, but we found an excellent greek restaurant by the river.
We also went on a river cruise which was very pretty and interesting. Everything was very close by. I think 2 days was perfectly adequate time see all windsor has to offer.
The station was right slap bang in the middle of town and even the riverside station was only a ten min walk from town centre. Every where is beautifully kept and clean.

You don’t need much time in Windsor as the only main attraction is the castle. We did lots of walking around the town and went in the castle. On our second day we struggled to find something else to do. But I would recommend the duck tour ! Excellent service and hospitality. Very educational and a great hour out.

A must see is of course St George’s Chapel and Windsor Castle, beautiful walks within the grounds and the Long Walk.

We had a day at legoland and a morning at Windsor Castle. We ate out in Windsor both nights and enjoyed the restaurants we visited. There was plenty of choice. We could have had another couple of days and explored more.

Everything was close to the property, eateries ,shops, lots of walking if you enjoy walking, coffee shops, the Long Walk, Eton and walking along the river Thames. Also good bus connections to Legoland outside the Castle. Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like.
I really liked it! The location is excellent. The hotel feels newly decorated. The room is clean as a whistle and tastefully decorated. The lobby and reception are very chic and comfortable. Check-in was great, probably the fastest check-in I ever had, even though we arrived earlier than scheduled. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is consistently hot and fresh. The tasty coffee and tea arrive by the potful. The Windsor Royal Theater was so close, we dropped by the box office and got tickets for a great show that same night!
Spacious, immaculate, everything had been thought about and was provided. Big kitchen area with modern appliances and all very clean. Lovely bedrooms. Comfortable. 10 mins walk into town and to castle, to the river or parks. Loved being close to places to eat. We were a family visiting Windsor Castle for an event and this worked out cheaper than separate hotel rooms and much more comfortable for my older parents to relax in. Downstairs loo and bedroom worked for us.
Nice amount of parking, though some a few minutes walk away from hotel. Very friendly and polite staff - Kingsley at reception was very helpful to us throughout our stay, and treated us warmly.
Nice, comfortable rooms with luxury toiletries. Lovely rooms for events/weddings, with ample water dispensers and toilets nearby. Fabulous and beautiful grounds to walk around.
Lovely complimentary breakfast in mornings with great selection of warm and cold foods.
Self catering , a lovely home for a few days and exactly what we needed for my older brother who joined us and close to our other relatives in Windsor . Parking would be better if we could have had two spots. Many modern facilities and far more comfortable than in and out of hotel rooms. Very clean and functional for a family or two couple . Easy walk unto Windsor. Always great to have a washing machine and laundry facilities on hand when travelling.
Felt very welcomed by all the staff, great location that’s a 10 minute walk from Windsor castle. Breakfast had a variety of options to choose from and we enjoyed our welcome drink in the bar. Quiet location, with decent sized rooms, most of which are on the ground floor. Parking was very easy to reserve in advance and the hotel labels the spaces which made things easier when we arrived.
Only a 15 minute walk to the castle and parking if needed (£13 per day). The hotel was clean and tidy and the room clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very good and although the restaurant was busy for breakfast we were there at the busiest time and there was still plenty available. The hotel was exactly what we needed and I would recommend it.
The hotel was amazing, more than I expected. Was very happy with what I paid. The town and castle was 10 min and beautiful place to walk around. Will differently be coming bad. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was our Anniversary and they make it special for us. Thank you again
Charles house is very close to the Windsor central train station, Windsor Castle 🏰 and downtown Windsor- every where you need or want to go is within ten minutes walk.
It was very clean and the owner is very helpful. There is a very good grocery store directly across the street
I booked the Castle Hotel for a special occasion and was more than impressed with the service in the hotel. The room was immaculate and well decorated, and the staff were fantastic throughout. Breakfast was delicious and I would happily recommend the hotel to anyone!
Location was great. Staff very responsive to the problems we met on arrival, bent over backwards to make our stay pleasurable. We had paid for parking but the local authority had not provided the hotel with the ticket so Gilbey's took it off our room charge.
The location in the middle of town opposite Windsor Castle, the friendliness of the staff, easy access to their restaurant, and their parking facility (at the back of the hotel) were all accessible, excellent, and supportive for an overnight stay.
Great location, just 2 minutes by walk to Windsor Castle. The room is very big cosy and bright. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom with bath it was phenomenal .Heater is also work very welI if you feel cold. I really loved that hotel.
Great location to the town. Bathroom spacious and very clean. Breakfast very good choice, plenty to choose from even a picky eater. Great hotel would stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting Windsor.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and breakfast were very good. The hotel was very easy to find and ideally located for our visit to Windsor Castle and the Great Park.
The location was great. Out of the noisy central area but very close to the park and Windsor castle. We had a view of the Castle from our hotel room window.
