Looking for your home from home? You've found it! Stirrups is a 46 bedroom, family-run hotel set within 10 acres of tranquil Berkshire countryside between Windsor, Ascot & Bracknell. Modern clean comfortable rooms, with Tea & Coffee making and generous biscuits. Room was warm. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of food. Dinner was very good, both represented good value All the staff were friendly and responsive. Check in & Check out process was a breeze and very efficient. Plenty of on-site parking at no cost.

The staff, Tom and the beautiful blonde that worked with him (we forgot her name) we’re so helpful and attentive! The grounds and fresh air a plus. Our bed was very comfortable. The food was superb!

A luxurious spa with a roof of fragrant herbs, an excellent gourmet restaurant, and an equestrian center are offered at this stunning, 5-star country house. My husband and I had the most glorious weekend here. While the hotel and location are stunning and even moreso when decorated for Christmas, it was the staff that really made our trip special. Everyone was warm, friendly, passionate about the hotel, and treated us like family. Highlights were the dinner at the new Woven restaurant which was spectacular, and a walk around Virginia Water. The manager even gave me a beautiful tin of Coworth afternoon blend tea to take away! We really appreciated the team's friendly, personal approach. While it's not a cheap hotel, extras such as water and breakfast, and even a bottle of Veuve Cliquot in our room, were included so we didn't feel we overpaid at any point.

Located in the heart of Berkshire, this boutique hotel offers 10 bedrooms with attached bathroom. Maidenhead Train Station is 5.7 miles away. The electric vehicle chatgung didn’t work again and the manager helped personally to find a normal electric socket. I managed to get enough charge to make it to an electric charging point elsewhere. The EV charging of it has worked was extremely expensive compare to other locations and wasn’t even HPC. Not a good experience at all. However the staffs compassion and creativity made it manageable.

Was very quiet when we where there, had drinks and dinner in the bar which was delicious! Shame we where only there one night, would absolutely go back. Beautiful grounds to wonder around.

I stayed for 1 night as I had to be at the Royal Berkshire Hospital early the next day (it’s just round the corner). I had little expectations as it was purely a bed for the night but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very comfortable and accommodating. The 24 hour staff were friendly and helpful. Food was served in the bar but I chose to eat food I had brought with me in my room, which was a nice option. It was a good stay at a really affordable price. I would recommend.

The pub is tucked away in the quiet Berkshire countryside. The bedrooms are arranged around a private courtyard which has a pretty little garden. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms very comfortable with generous bathrooms. We stayed at the Berkshire Arms for reading festival weekend … we are not campers the hotel was away from reading enough maybe 25 minute drive , our hotel room had a huge comfy bed which after walking and dance round the festival all day was amazing to come back to , and seriously the best shower, hot and powerful ! The staff were all lovely, smilie and helpful at all times .

Beautiful, historic hotel. The morning breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Great location. Right next to the Windsor Castle as well as the Thames River and all of its wonderful shopping areas. They also have a spa with massages available. Friendly staff.

There were not many local hotels with Christmas night availability, so we weren't expecting much for a 3* place. When we arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the place. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean. The sheets were like new; very crisp and white. The bathroom was gleaming with a big walk-in shower, the towels were fluffy and very white. From the bedroom there were French doors leading to a balcony with a spectacular view of the Thames. We had a very restful sleep and a full English breakfast and buffet before departing for our onward journey. The location is great with easy motorway access, we'll definitely use them again. They deserve more than a 3* rating.

the location of this property is perfect. everything is just down the street. the castle is right opposite the hotel. cafés and pubs are right down the street as well. the rooms were of good size and well spaced bathroom. everything was perfect.
