Beautiful quiet, peaceful setting. Comfortable, big and extremely clean room. Fresh tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival along with more facilities in our room. Lovely breakfast. Great, friendly hosts who can't do enough for you and always have time to chat. I'd definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome, exceptional quality throughout, perfect location for our requirements and the breakfast was spot on. The small stairs presented a challenge for my size 13 feet but that's part of the charm of the place.

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished.
The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops.
The people we met so friendly.
The cherry on the cake is a second hand book shop. The books there just incredible!

The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. Garden unkempt and garden furniture rusty.

A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good.
Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! The wonderful village of Portmeirion [famous for it's use in the 60's TV series 'The Prisoner'] is not too far away either

Great walking - either flat to Barmouth, or up the mountain. A great selection of pubs, all serving good beer, and a decent curry house (the Lemon Grass - but cash only and BYOB). Has everything you need for a few days away.

Beautiful thriving little market town with lots of unique shops, as well as a few staples, and a big Spar. The restuarant that we went to (Y Sospan) was amazing. You don't need a car to get around town, and if you bring your bikes or walking gear, the estuary and mountains are yours for the views and swimming.

A lovely little town with many attractive shops and restaurants.
We visited the tapas bar more than once.
The food was delicious.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia area and for going south to Mid-Wales.
A beautiful location with large rooms in a stunning location. The staff of the hotel are really excellent, offering a much nicer experience than a standard corporate hotel chain. We felt really looked after, without being overwhelmed by too much service. Breakfast was really good and the breakfast/dining area is lovely. The same is true of the sitting room - we had a couple of nights finishing off a bottle of wine by the fire, which was magical. Dinner was great for a special occasion. I would love to come back.
This B&B was very deceptive. Outside facade did not indicate what the rooms were like.
We stayed in the Gwendd room which was tastefully refurbished. Bathroom was also fabulous.
Little extras in the room were very much appreciated - nespresso machine, nibbles, cakes, chips,
shortbreads and still and sparkling water in the mini fridge - all complimentary.
Dolgellau was an intersting market town with much history and many hotels where we felt very welcome in.
B & B was a 5 min walk into the centre.
It was a great Bed & Breakfast lodge. The owners Chris and Louise were very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Provided some amazing tips on where we could visit as we were in the North of Wales to do a lot of hiking. The room was had was very spacious and had a very comfortable bed. Provided great Breakfast for the week we stayed with them. We cannot wait to visit North Wales again and stay with them.
Great cottage. Very comfy and clean. it had everything plus more that we needed. Nice extra touches on arrival. Handy bike store in the back courtyard. Great location to explore the area and also to walk into Dolgellau in the evening. Host was easy to contact and gave some great recommendations for food in the area. We would definitely recommend the pizzas in the Stag Inn.
Julie and Jan were brilliant and always had time for a chat, and Jan gave us some useful information about the surrounding area and the best places to visit and eat. The property was full of old world character and charm! We were in the en suite attic room which was small but catered well for our needs. We will definitely book again when we are next in North Wales!
The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Nick was so friendly with such a warm accommodating attitude, As I went climbing near by, he phone to check in when it got late to make sure I was safe, I missed breakfast the next morning, but he so kindly left me a nice bacon roll for when I returned.
Generous hosts. Room had modern decor, well-equipped kitchen, nice breakfast options available, and a comfortable living area. Lots of on-site parking, and Dolgellau is a pretty town to spend time in. The area was quiet, and convenient for hiking in Snowdonia park.
The hosts were incredibly helpful and went out of their way with everything we needed. Truly beautiful people. Lovely well appointed apartment recently renovated with new carpet. The village itself is very charming and good access to the attractions of North Wales.
The hotel manager, Kasia, was an absolute delight. Her grace and charm added immensely to our visit. The location was near hiking trails and a delightful pub across the 30 pence walking bridge. The view from the grounds was outstanding across the estuary.
The location was beautiful. It was our first time visiting wales. We stayed in the Shepherd Hut which was absolutely lovely. We had our own private area with hot tub. The facilities inside the hut was good and the reception was extremely helpful!!
Our room was clean and beautiful! We had an amazing view of the square. The hotel is in the centre and near to shops. There are a lot of parking options. The hotel staff was lovely, and we also enjoyed having dinner there.
On the off set the accommodation was set in a really nice area with lovely scenery. The staff seemed very pleasant (when you could get them) and helpful. The design of the place was nice, just run down in a lot of places.
An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely hosts, very friendly with plenty of tips for local area. Very comfortable room with nice extras such as mini fridge with fresh milk for hot drinks and welsh cakes.
The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome , we loved our room it was quiet and we had a great nights sleep , food was delicious and a good atmosphere in the bar area .
