The good reviews this place has received were absolutely correct. Very nice and helpful people and though the bungalow room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in, it was lovely and perfect for my needs. I always bring a memory foam matrass in my car when I travel around in Thailand because of my bad back, but this time I could leave it in the car because the bed was comfortable as it was.

We stayed at the place because to be near to border to Laos (Immigration) and for that purpose it was perfect; simple, clean, easy stay.
I liked to have riverview. We had two single beds that we rearranged such that they were mire close to eachother. Not perfect but ok. For one person the bed was too hard, for the other it was good. Was great to be on the (small) balcony to look at the river, but there were no seats.
I used the pool, but at the time of the day the two high building on the side avoided all sunshine to warm up the water. We also had to use our own towels from the room, one per person.
Checkout was fast without checking the room. Few hours after we left, we were in Chiang Rai already, staff called us that they we left behind a watch. They agreed to send it to our home in Chiang Mai. Great service that we really appreciate.

I was in town for the first annual (I hope) Chiang Khong Music Festival.
The music was excellent and the roads to and from were perfect for motorcycles.
Chiang Khong is a sleepy little town with just enough nightlife to keep it from being boring.
It is right on the Mekong River and there is a "Friendship Bridge" border crossing to Lao (Laos) very close.
If you need to decompress, this is a good place to do it.
Great place to spend the night for Motorcycle enthusiasts.

Nothing much here but it's away from the waterfront at Chiang Saen and Sop Ruap with their Burmese and Chinese casinos across the river. We drove so we were able to get around to some out of the way places downriver and over to Sop Ruap so the ladies could go shopping. All in all a pleasant place to stay especially for us older farangs.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay & don't just stay for one night! Mai and her son Nak are fabulous hosts and the location is very peaceful and beautiful. My room was huge and very well set up with a lovely bathroom and a view across fields to Laos. The most comfortable bed so far in Thailand. The photos don't do it justice! I had two nights there before going on a Mekong boat cruise and Nak took me on a tour for the day to the Golden Triangle.
It’s in a good location with restaurants and stores within walking distance. It’s located in the heart of Chiang Khong city. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure and was hot. Although the staff wasn’t there to greet us when we arrived, we rang the bell as the sign said, and she came right away. She was very helpful and helped us immensely. It was a good value for the money. I would stay here again.

This is an absolutely amazing property! Very comfortable and well appointed room with a view of the Mekong River and a fantastic bed. The grounds of the property are both serene and beautiful. The proprietors, Nack and his mother, Min(?), we’re so sweet, kind and accommodating. Overall this was an excellent stay in a boutique hotel that I would happily recommend without any reservations.
Very clean and comfortable stay. The place is full of green, well looked after and has a huge swimming pool (25m).
The owner is very friendly and looked after our well being all the time. On request you get a delicious dinner and breakfast.
The hotel is a little outside of town but has a quick access to the Mekong boardwalk and from there it is a beautiful walk along the river. A must do!
The Hotel owners are also the managers. Super nice people, very good english, a wealth of local knowledge. All the rooms have the same fabulous view of the Mekong River. Chilling on the balcony, watching the river traffic and sipping a cold Chang or a hot coffee in the morning is what is sooo great. Very short walk to the best restaurant tin town.
Room was bright, spacious and clean, with a good bed and well functioning air conditioning. Bathroom was fine, with better than usual counter space around the sink. Front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming. The adjacent 7/11 was very handy. Hotel's location could not be more central, with many places to eat nearby.
The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. There isn’t much going on in Chiang Khong but we found this hotel to be close to bars and eateries while also being secluded from the main road through the town. Staff were friendly upon arrival. The pool is lovely and clean and is regularly maintained.
Wonderful, comfortable place with Mekong view right from your own balcony, free coffee & small breakfast. Nice & attentive, ready to help owners (once again, thank you for picking me up late evening from the middle of nowhere). One of the best place to stay to remember from Thailand.
They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 11. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
The rooms are very big with a cute balcony overlooking the river. Just in front of the hotel, you can walk along the river and find lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. Being slightly out the town means it’s very peaceful too.
Great hotel, nice and clean rooms, warm showers, balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant. Walking distance to the river and promenade. I recommend it, everything is very comfortable and good.
We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.
