The location is excellent for both driving and public transport, but parking incurs an additional cost. All staff members are very friendly. While the breakfast is simple, it is very good. The room is comfortable enough for the three of us, with a small balcony to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is very clean throughout. They provide luggage lift. Overall, it's 100% worth the value.

Very nice charming apartment with kitchen and lot of usefull details in it. We appreciated the comfotable bed and you can even watch prime amazon or netflix. Very calm place with good accesibility to Hallstatt.

It is an idyllic house that raises sheep next door. I stayed at an accommodation with a terrace on the upper floor, and the dining room, living room, and bedroom are arranged in harmony, and the atmosphere of the country is full. Tea and a glass of wine on the terrace were great. The homeowner picked us up at the Obertraun station on the first day, and the old couple, who are the homeowners, are very friendly. Buses to Hallstatt, Five Fingers, and Oberaun station stop right in front of the accommodation. If you follow the trail for about 15 minutes, you will be connected to the lakefront trail. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Cable Car Station in Five Fingers. While the Hallstatt area is cluttered with so many tourists, the lawns and trails around the lake are so good in Obertraun, and until mid-September when we visited, there were many people swimming, boating and sunbathing in the shallow lake. There are quite a few mountain bikes and mountaineers near Five Fingers, and paragliding to Lake Halstadt and getting off at Obetraun seemed fun. My wife and I intend to revisit this accommodation and stay for a long time.

we enjoyed the location, the little and charming bungallows, the rich breakfast and the outstanding multilingual staff. Additionally, the activities to do are numerous (biking, hiking, kayaking...) if you would like to avoid the touristy Hallstadt. You can go by bike anywhere, even to hallsdtatt. We drove from Vienna to the localtion of the hotel. however, you can also arrive to hallstadt by train and then rent a bike to the place; or travel to town of Obertraun (Obertraun train station is 20 min walk from the hotel). The staff will recommend (and make the bookings fro you) at many great and good quality restauratnts.

The landlady was most helpful and accommodating! We appreciated the possibility to leave our luggage in the property for a few hours after the check-out. Well equipped kitchen was a huge convenience. Nice view from the window :) Spacious bathroom. Everything new and clean.
