Fantastic view of the mountain from the pool. The services were top notch, and the massage we had from the spa was really needed after a long day hanging around beautiful Mai Chau. Our room was very beautiful. Parking space was large. Staff were super nice. Dinner was also great. All in all, highly recommend!

We had fabulous views from our fourth (the top ) floor room over the rice fields . In fact all rooms have this view .
Lovely breakfast and the family who run the hotel headed by Duong are so nice and friendly and helpful . We rented bikes and Duong gave us a map and suggested ways to go. He also organised a driver to take us on a drive around the country side , went to the viewpoint overlooking Mai Chau, drove through villages and saw a magnificent lake and waterfall . Swimming at the base of the waterfall was so refreshing . Mai Chau is such a beautiful place to visit .

Had a room with a small private plunge pool. Perfect for cooling off with a quick dip. The main pool is a decent size approx 20m. Ability to borrow a bike for the day and experience the surrounding countryside was a bonus. The view of the mountains and the rice fields was stunning , especially when a thunderstorm rolled through.

Best beds during my stay in Vietnam!
Fantastic view on the fields! They provide help with activities and a taxi for example. Free bike rental. And they offer massages! For me perfect location and good price if i comper this to the other luxerious stays around. And still a nice place to have a good rest. Bc i felt sick last day they helped me with bringing breakfast and drinks in the room itself.

The breakfast was okay as it was included on the price of the stay. The view was pretty spectacular on the rare occasion we saw it (we only saw it 1 afternoon out of 3 days we stayed, it was foggy most days to the point you couldn't see anything).
We had a nice walking tour with Kay, he was knowledgeable and welcoming and also assisted us with organising a day tour/transport to Mai Chau.

We stayed in Ban Lac, it was great for accomodation, food, shoping and as a departure point for bike rides and trips. Very charming and quiet place, surrounded by rice fields and a bit further from the bigger road (still easy to get there). It was our favourite place in Vietnam.

It was really lovely.
It was really lovely. Calm without being too quiet, with lots of nice roads to walk and look out over the rice fields and gardens. Just enough food/beer vendors spread about to be good :)
Lots of dogs about, and the smell of burning plastic was a pitty.

This area is incredibly beautiful - rice paddies all around as well as much other vegetation and farming. Beautiful wild nature in the mountains. The people are very kind and the local cuisine is delicious. Visiting by scooter or motorcycle would be best as the sights are spread out and it would be a little difficult to visit. You could also do it by car but that would be less fun!

After checking out La Maison de Buoc, I returned to Hanoi and had a flight back to Australia. If I knew that the trip would be so beautiful and memorable, I would stay longer.
Mai Chau this season is very beautiful, even though there are no longer rice fields. People have harvested all the rice since mid-November. But it's okay, I visited Pu waterfall, Mai Hich stream, Thai ethnic villages, climbed Red Rock and Kiapaco Cave.
It can be said that my trip was too short, I wish I could stay longer.

I like solo traveling so the trip to Mai Chau was what I needed after a long time working. It was and is a quiet, peaceful place, not many things to do, but a lot of things to see. I'm glad I came here on a motorcycle so I can go around and see many thing. For example cloud hunting( or cloud sightseeing, waterfalls, rice field under the shade of mountains as the sun coming down. I hope booking.com adds video feature since I record most of my video

The homemade food was delicious and the couple running the homestsy made sure I had everything I needed. The tranquility and quietness of the location makes it a perfect stay for relaxation.
They also helped me with my transportation and offered a bike to rent to move around Mai Chau. The last day Thom gave me a bag of bananas to take with me.
Lynh was so kind and made us feel at home in her homestay! She was always trying to help and make us feel comfortable during our stay, we really fell in love with Mai Chau thanks to her as well. The view from the homestay is spectacular and the food was delicious! We loved every moment of our stay there and would definitely come back! 😊
Great place, lovely pool + beautiful rooms + good food + location with easy access but still right in a tranquil village where local people live, and not in the tourist “villages” where all the hotels are where you don’t want to be (they are fully composed of hotels, shops for souvenirs, and a few bar/restaurants, but not in a good way)
great location, lovely pool but too cold to use, rooms were nice and had everything you need, bicycles available, breakfast was good (Vietnamese options best), although we were only guests there and it is extremely quiet due to COVID the staff were around and brought us drinks etc and were friendly
Absolutely everything!
The rooms, the swimming pool (the private one), the view, the surrounding and of course the staff who were really helpful. The bikes were offered for free to let you discover the field rice. If there is a place to be in Mai Chau, that should be this hotel.
Location is the best in Mai Chau.Beautiful surrondings you got the meadow in front of you.The staff and the family are wonderful.Good cycles to rent.Close to the.main shops and ATM in the small town, markets.I used my bicycle all the time.Food is really good and good portionsI
Lim and her mum are amazing people. They made great food, washed our clothes for free, are very helpful and friendly and smile the whole day. They made our stay in Mai Chau unforgettable. We will for sure come back and can recommend Lim’s house to everybody.
The best homestay in Mai Chau. So peaceful, love the pool, staff are incredible helpful and friendly. The communal dinners every night are delicious and great to meet others while travelling. Perfect relaxing place literally surrounded by rice fields.
We had an excellent stay in Mai Chau: very warm welcome from the people managing the hotel, clean rooms, excellent meals! In addition, their advice for visiting the valley was a great help to us in enjoying our stay. Do not miss this hotel !
Wonderful location in countryside. Very good starting point for trips to see Vietnamese nature, by motorbike or by own feet. Very friendly host, with above Vietnam-average English. We highly recommend to try his local cuisine.
As they say, Vietnamese people are kind, honest and hard working people and this is exactly true with the staff here. Especially ms Trang who was kind and helped us get anything we needed.
Beautiful and quiet location, with a stunning infinity pool. Rooms and area feels almost like a fancy resort in Thailand, and the beds are very comfortable for Vietnamese standards.
One of the most gorgeous hidden property and area in Vietnam, still very untouched by tourists!
Gorgeous villas, amazing pool view, great service
