Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. This is a magical place, inside the Nara Park. Surrounded by nature and deers, it allows you to feel the real soul of Japan. Everything was perfect: service, structure, position, food, even the night sky. Its position allows you to reach the strategic points of Nara by walk in about 10 minutes. This means that if you wake up early enough, you will be able to dodge the main flux of tourists. And this is an asset in my opinion.

The picturesque Japanese-style guest house Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast is centrally located in Nara, 10 minutes by taxi from JR Nara Station. Thank you very much for the kind welcome! We really enjoyed our stay here, the beds were particularly comfortable and we adored the kotatsu, looking into buying one in the future hahaha. The breakfast was fab, really appreciated the more traditional Japanese breakfast! Also thanks so much for bringing us our forgotten items after we had left for a few minutes, our forgetful selves are very appreciative! :)

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Staying here was a wonderful experience for our family, including 3 kids, ages 10, 15, 17. The location was magical and serene, the food delicious and unique. Wish we could have stayed longer to participate in more of the educational opportunities. Took a train, then a local bus as close as we could and then walked the last 3/4 mile, which worked out fine since we only had day packs on us, but you may want to plan your transportation ahead of time if this wouldn't work for you.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... One of the best place we stay at. The services provided by the hotel, and the very nice hotel staff were top notch. The in room private onsen, and the public one was excellent. We stayed in a Japanese style room, love all the detail of the corridor and the style. We especially enjoy the half board meals provided. I recommend anyone stay there to get it. I’ll definitely come back again if I’m visiting Nara again. Hotel is located very close to the train station and buses are easy walk to.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The location was lovely. Outstanding service and grounds.

Located in Ikoma and only 8.8 km from Iwafune Shrine, Kanko Ryokan Yamato provides accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host was extremely kind. She always made sure we had everything we needed before leaving and coming back from our daily trips. It was like staying at some "real Japanese people's home".

Kadojin features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tenkawa. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

Located in Tenkawa, Misenkan offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This 2-star ryokan offers luggage storage space. Guests can enjoy river views. Everything perfect, very nice and helpful staff, beautiful and cozy room and bed, you can hear the sound of river when you sleep, very good and yummy food, host even cook more dishes for us

Kakimotoya is located near Mount Shigi, a 10-minute taxi ride from JR Oji Train Station. Amazing meals, and modern facilities, comparing to other ryokans we visited during our trip. View was amazing, but location can only be accessed by car or bus

Situated within 1.5 km of Nara Station and 19 km of Iwafune Shrine, Nara Ryokan features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Nara. Lovely place to stay. We had a good time here. Nara is a nice town and hotel is so close to everything.
