Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. Polite and friendly staff. Great food. Good onsen. Nearby lake and view is beautiful.

Located in Hanamaki, 29 km from Morioka, Kashoen features a hot spring bath and sauna. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Service. We were wow-ed by the service right at the moment we parked our car, a staff immediately came to gather our luggages, and then escort us to our rooms after check-in. The room was big beyond our expectation. Onsen leaves a smooth feeling skin.

하치만타이에 자리한 Apikogen Mori no Hotel에서는 공용 라운지, 무료 전용 주차장, 레스토랑 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 모리오카 기차역에서 46km 거리에 있습니다. 숙소는 이와테누마쿠나이역에서 31km, 니노헤역에서 46km, 모리오카 아이스링크에서 48km 거리에 있습니다. I wish that I had discovered this place sooner. My husband is a passholder at the nearby Appi Ski Resort so I booked the family room to work out of while he enjoyed the powder. We were impressed with the Cyprus bath in the room, but it had nothing on the outdoor rock bath. The outdoor baths are both accessible to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis (you can lounge in the lobby and wait for one to open up). The building itself looks like an old lodge and has a beautiful staircase in the lobby. The staff were all very helpful, and there were at least two who spoke great English during our stay. We also booked breakfast and dinner, which I'd say are a must. The hotel advised us that there are no food options nearby. We luckily had a car, but if you don't, definitely be mindful of this.

Everything was brilliant. Fantastic value for money. Great food, awesome Onsens. It's very traditional though. Beds are Futon style and there are no showers in the rooms. You have to shower in the Onsen.

Offering a children's playground and hot spring bath, Hachimantai Resort Hotel & Spa is situated in Hachimantai. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Friendly and welcoming hospitality. The location was fabulous and the rooms were clean. Delicious array of dishes for the buffet. We really enjoyed the New Year’s Day firework exhibit and the fact that we could access the slopes straight from the hotel✨
