Levona Garden Resort is located in Habarana, 1.2 km from Habarana Lake and 15 km from Ritigala Forest Monastery. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. We loved staying at Levona Garden Resort! The property is very quiet and comfortable in a great location. The garden is lovely and the room was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were always on time and delicious! The pool is refreshing after a long hot day in the sun and is very clean. what we liked most about the property was the staff. This resort is family owned and operated 24/7 by the mother, father and a son. They work very hard to make everyone happy and we are so appreciative of their attention to make our vacation special. They provided five star service the whole stay, we are so impressed!

When you arrive, the entrance doesn't look like much but once you go up the stairs and meet the family, you know you're in the right place. They are simply the kindest people you will meet on your journey. I loved my room. The bed was the best I've had on this trip. New, soft, and so comfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfasts are insanely good. An array of home cooked and mostly coconut based dishes. I'm a fan of coconuts so this was heaven for me. They have the hookup for tuktuks around the old city and there are lots of restaurants immediately around the guesthouse.

We had an excellent stay in this piece of real jungle. The pictures don't lie. We had not expected to see so many animals within the garden! Enormous butterflies, exotic birds, even wild peacocks and traces of elephants in the morning. There were not so many mosquitos though, we could easily sit outside in the dark and eat. It was like glamping on a high level with pool, nice food and WiFi. The children were thrilled!

Very friendly and helpful staff, we had a fantastic stay and got to discover the most of the area without any stress nor proper prior research. The rooms are very cosy and close to nature.

We planned to stay 2 nights but we ended up extending it to 5 nights. The family is extremely friendly and hospitable, going far and beyond to make our stay convenient and unforgettable: local tips, washing clothes, cooking any meals, short transports, and scooter rent can be arranged without hassle. They even significantly discounted the final bill and gifted us with some local souvenirs! The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients cooked with love, and the recipes were changing according to our liking. Every morning when we left to explore and late at night when we came back they came out to greet us and see if all is fine. The resort is with amazing views. The lake, sunrise and sunset are gorgeous with a view to 3 biggest stupas with lights on the whole new night. It’s 7-10 minutes drive with a scooter to the nearest stupas and ancient hidden sights. We had many mornings e.g. at Wessagiriya cave complex meditating and resting on smooth rock formations under giant rocks shadows, and watching peacocks’ dancing. All rooms are with A/C and very comfortable beds. There is no water heating (or cooling) so if you don’t demand hot showers but instead prefer refreshing cool showers during the hot days, it will be perfect. Next time we will come back with a bigger family. Thank you so much for everything! 🙏

From the minute we arrived the family were smiling and helpful & greeted us with a lovely juice. The room was exceptionally spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfy. Aircon was also great. The family seemed to go out of their way to please. Location is perfect, very quiet & just a 5 min walk to town and about 10 mins to the base of Mihithale steps leading up to the beautiful temple. If this property is available - just book it!
