Small room, air conditioned and with a mosquito net. Bathroom was clean, shower worked great. Everything one would need for a one night stay with only light baggage. The host recommended us to watch the sunrise on Pidurangala, which was a great recommendation, and he got up very early in the morning to serve us breakfast before we went. The driver we booked through the hotel was very friendly and considerate. Additional charges for the driver were clearly communicated up-front.

The property is very quiet and comfortable in a great location. The garden is lovely and the room was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were always on time and delicious! The pool is refreshing after a long hot day in the sun and is very clean. what we liked most about the property was the staff. This resort is family owned and operated 24/7 by the mother, father and a son. They work very hard to make everyone happy and we are so appreciative of their attention to make our vacation special. They provided five star service the whole stay, we are so impressed!

Just for the family who lives there and run the guesthouse, you should stay at Rajarata Reach!! The owners are such an adorable couple with cute kids. Honestly they are the most smiling, friendly and generous people you will meet! I felt so very welcomed by them, it was like being at home! You get some really nice recommendations and the owners are sooo helpful and soooo happy to help you with anything! The room was really nice, super clean and quiet. The bed and pillows are sooooo comfortable! You have a nice AC in the room. The bathroom is spotless, super new with a super nice hot shower. You can also ask for a mosquito net! Breakfast was great and so good and the coconut pancakes are sooooo delicious! I love them! And the fresh pineapple juice too! Location was great for me, a few meters away from the bus station and close to loads of shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and I am so grateful from all the kindness and generosity I have been given at Rajarata Reach! I highly highly highly recommend the place!

We absolutely loved this property. From the minute we arrived the family were smiling and helpful & greeted us with a lovely juice. The room was exceptionally spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfy. Aircon was also great. The family seemed to go out of their way to please. Location is perfect, very quiet & just a 5 min walk to town and about 10 mins to the base of Mihithale steps leading up to the beautiful temple. If this property is available - just book it!
