The 5-star Fota Island Hotel boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, a swimming pool and beautifully designed rooms with countryside views and luxury bathrooms. Cork is just 8 miles away. Exceptional hotel! We got an excellent room, staff was VERY friendly, even helped me to replace a flat tire, breakfast was wonderful. Wish we could stay there more than 1 night!

This stunning, 163 acre estate includes beautiful gardens, a 40-acre lake, and the fantastic Sky Garden crater. Fresh home cooking is provided, and guests can enjoy canoeing on the lake. We loved having access to the Sky Garden and walking the estate’s gardens and woodland paths. A touch of luxury even though we had the smallest room accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful.
