Canary is only a few minutes walk from the beach which makes for a nice sunny walk in the morning! However, by far the best feature of Canary hotel was its staff. Truly amazing people who sought to help us at every turn! They delivered the kind of service you would expect from the top luxury hotels around the world.

The unexpected gravel road leading to the spectacular property was nice surprise. My partner and I weren’t sure what to expect but we were graciously greeted by Harry who accommodated us for all our needs during our stay. Him and all the staff were friendly and welcoming so we definitely felt at home. The villas are far larger than we anticipated— ours was gorgeous, clean and very private with an ocean view. I can’t write a review about Saphira without mentioning the food. Chef was fabulous. He came to the table each night to recommend his favourite dishes and even recommended things off the menu he had created for the day. Easy to say my partner and I ate far more than necessary as everything was just that good. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Africa— thanks for hosting us!

Great location, cute and practical rooms. AC and fan worked perfectly. The room did not feel humid at all (as opposed to other hotels). Yummy food at the restaurant. Just replay enjoyed having drink at the restaurant patio overlooking the beach and sunset. Loved all the staff, they were so helpful.

I don't know how it is possible that some people give bad comments. We live in Switzerland, we are used to travelling to different countries and I can say that it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel is perfect, wonderful staff, super clean, good food, the view is spectacular, kids club very good, beach accessible during low tide. Hotel far exceeded our expectations!
