Truly excellent hotel. Great people - welcoming, kind and really attentive, essentially all of staff in all different roles. Superb white sand beach and emerald ocean with nice view to Mnemba Island. Food & food choice is great with main buffet restaurant and a couple of a la carte restaurants, expansive all-inclusive package (even includes complementary sun screens at the pools, good choice of drinks, etc.). Very neatly looked after territory with nice lush gardens, rooms cleaned twice a day. Ticks all of the boxes for high standard luxury & relaxing stay, what else would you want? Hope all will stay the same after TUI takes over next year:)

The rooms were clean and had a beautiful sea view & view of the sunrise over the ocean. The staff was amazing, Kassia and Pawel were incredible hosts and everyone did their best to help us with any requests we had, we felt very welcome. Interesting place to stay to get an insight into local Zanzibar life.

Great location, comfortable rooms, and amazing staff. Hazel and Doris made us feel at home and helped us to arrange trips to different parts of the island including to Mnemba Island to see dolphins. Thank you to these ladies for making our trip a memorable one.

You feel like at home! It is a real home! The breakfast and the quality of all foods from the hotel restaurant is on the highest niveau. The room and all the facilities (nice relaxing places, sunbeds, and the kids-romm with snooker and darts were great and very clean. The shower outside of the room under the palm trees is superb with a real wellness feeling experience. The pool was crystallclear and the temperature was amazing. The pool had also shadow part where the kids could swim also when the sun is very stong or att he low tide. The staff is unbelievable kind and professional. The hotel has got its own water purifying system and its own sewage water handling system. It is a good feeling that one could drink tap water. That is why it must be emphasized that it is an ÖKO-HOTEL which cares about our future environment. The beach of the hotel is safe and clean and supervised by staff al day long. The reef-tour(which is complementary) where you could meet the sea animals was very interesting!

Miss Nice at the reception is super welcoming and the room is awosome. The private beach is nice and quite, and the price is good!

Panga Chumvi gives outstanding value for money in a beautiful setting with an excellent restaurant and brilliant, smiling, friendly staff. We had a sea facing studio. It was HUGE and the view directly to the beach was amazing. Comfortable beds, excellent Wifi in the room (possibly because we were near the restaurant/central Wifi point) beautiful large shower room and our own patio for sunbathing/lounging. We went for the half board option, which is very unlike us. We normal choose to eat in local restaurants. However, it was a blessing as my husband got food poisoning in Stonetown so we felt safer,health wise, eating in the hotel restaurant which served the best food of our 3 week stay at 4 different hotels. The pool was lovely and quiet and the tropical gardens well tended. I would not hesitate to recommend this place if you want a quiet week on a beautiful tropical beach with the whitest sand I have seen in the World. Even better than The Seychelles!
