Nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain Range and surrounded by wineries, The Vineyard Country House features an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and patios overlooking the garden. This stay is among the most memorable and enjoyable we've ever had. The hostess was welcoming and resourceful, particularly during the storm and flood on the 25th of September. When all around us was chaos and closure, she graciously allowed us to stay with her, providing a safe harbor. The owner also personally prepares breakfast for her guests, serving a delicious array of options including yogurt, orange juice, fresh fruits, and a choice of warm breakfast dishes. Her personal touch, combined with the estate's harmonious blend of traditional charm and modern amenities, such as the pool, created an ambiance of homely hospitality, making our stay utterly delightful and remarkable. The estate itself, rich in quaint, traditional elegance, yet modernly equipped, felt like a warm, welcoming home, ensuring a splendid stay for us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Montagu Hotel and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. First and foremost, I have to commend the staff for their exceptional service. From the moment I was greeted with a warm welcome, I was made to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly, attentive manner made a difference. The food at the hotel was delicious. Each meal was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, which were a perfect way to start each day. The dinners were also a highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from. The tranquil gardens surrounding the hotel were a true oasis of calm. It was lovely to take a stroll through the gardens and simply relax and unwind in such a peaceful setting. I even stayed in one day just to enjoy the serene calmness of the place! Overall, I cannot recommend the Montagu Country Hotel highly enough. The staff, the food, and the tranquil gardens all exceeded my expectations, and I will be returning in the future. It truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Montagu.

Located in the heart of Montagu, this lodge offers non-smoking rooms and a gourmet restaurant serving game dishes. Free parking is available. Cape Town is a 2-hour drive away. Very helpful and friendly staff and owner make this hotel one of the best in town.Quality price this hotel is really worth it.

The Vic 1906 hotel is in the centre of Montague. Close to shops and restaurants. The Hotel is run by a lovely, kind and caring and friendly family. There were snacks and chocolates in the room. Everything was perfect. Great hosts and a lovely restaurant. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back on our next visit.

Featuring an infinity pool and views of mountain, PJURE Wellness Retreat & Spa is a recently renovated guest house located in Montagu, 1.4 km from Montagu Golf Club. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very welcoming. I was not feeling well and they offered me hot ginger tea. In the morning they prepared a heart breakfast. I would love to go back again. It was loadshedding when we checked in and they made effort to ensure that we are warm.

The place , very well kept, surrounded by olive trees. Breakfast superb. Friendly staff who want to do the best for you. No need for plugconverter to charge mobiles. Even comes with USB plugsockets.

Its really hard to describe the beauty of the surrounds - it’s so perfectly positioned … idyllic … nestled in the bosom of unadulterated pure peaceful nature. The unit is well equipped with great attention to detail. You will lack nothing … everything works … one of the best equipped self catering cottages we have encountered … it’s MUCH MUCH more than a cottage … the owner Linda is the epitome of service excellence … friendly, caring, attentive and generous … and so are the staff … this is a one of a kind stay …

Set within 1.4 km of Hick's Art Gallery and 3.9 km of Montagu Golf Club in Montagu, Jus Limin offers accommodation with seating area. A stunning location. The rooms face the mountains and overlook a small copse of olive trees (I think). Very picturesque! Walking distance to nearby restaurants, plenty to choose from. Kai contacted us about 10 days prior to check-in to suggest places for dinner and then made a booking for us. Very grateful for this as all the restaurants were fully booked for dinner by the time we arrived. Breakfast places weren't a problem.

Roodekloof is a recently renovated apartment in Montagu, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Beautiful setting, fantastic cottages and included all the essentials plus more to make the stay comfortable.
