The location was great for us because we wanted a place to relax for the last two days of our vacation. The hotel is outside of town, surrounded by beautiful farmland and very quiet. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable and well decorated. It feels like an elegant English country inn with a fireplace and book case and art. My very favorite thing was that they build a fire in the fireplace at night, and I loved reading on the cozy couch by the fire. There is also a pool outside, and many chairs and places to sit and relax on nice days. The service was cordial. And they accepted our dog. They put guests with pets in the exterior rooms with entrances from the outside, which is perfect.

The host is very caring and made sure her cleaning lady, who is also a wonderful person, was there to meet me in person and show me around. The host is very responsive, which was of great help when the hot-water heater unexpected stopped working during my stay. My host, her cleaning lady and I communicated well with each other to address the issue and the host was very gracious to offer me (of her own volition) a number of additional nights' stay for free. The cleaning lady took me to the nearby supermarket on the first night and showed me the town center while we waited for the repair person on another day. She also did my laundry for a reasonable additional fee.
