Lusk is not on the tourist trail, but is the real deal for life in eastern Wyoming. The people are welcoming and proud of their community. Go to the Lusk museum to learn what life was Ike for the settlers. Their spirit lives on today.
Interesting town. Bring your wallet! Don't miss the Bar J Wranglers Chuck wagon dinner in Wilson, Wyoming (20 minute drive). You won't find a better dinner with GREAT entertainment for $25.
University of Wyoming college football game was SOOO much fun! The wait time to eat meals was very long, but to be expected since the population increased significantly with those attending the game. However the quality of food was outstanding!
Casper Wyoming is absolutely beautiful. There is no place like Wyoming. It will take your breath away. I will highly recommend everyone see Wyoming at least once. I am looking forward to my next visit to Wyoming. The Rockies will take your breath away. Thank you
Enjoyed our stay. The Buffalo Bill Hotel and The Irma Restaurant and Grill for amazing atmosphere and food. Also Wyoming’s Rib and Chop House. Wanted to try Cassie’s. Visit Old Trail Town. Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede Park. Buffalo Bill Center of the West for history and museums. Walk down Sheridan Ave.
Enjoyed Sheridan Wyoming the people were very friendly. Downtown Sheridan during the Christmas Stroll was beautiful & was great family fun. Shops for all ages For souvenirs buy Surf Wyoming gear downtown Also there are two mini casinos, only made it to one but it was fun. Best Western restaurant had great food specials
One horse town but is on the upswing with new construction, new hotels and chain restaurants all around... and the people are fairly nice. It is “backwoods” so don’t expect Armani, Rolex or lobster! Allot of bad tattoos, pickup trucks and flannel. Flat as a board, loads of snow, and wicked cold! But that’s 95% of Wyoming:) Had fun just the same. But was glad to get back to “civilization” in Denver.
Pinedale is one of my favorite places in Wyoming. Such beautiful scenery in all directions. The people are so mice. A great place to visit. Charming small town atmosphere. Love it here.
Came for a funeral so it was not a happy occasion. It is always windy in Wyoming so keep that in mind when visiting. Casper is a very industrial town with some nice residential areas and some interesting historical areas.
Laramie is a very nice, relaxed, Wyoming mountain town. The University of Wyoming is located here. Ease of driving around in and lots of places to see. Awesome coffee shops. University has a museum open to the public. A must see. Not far from hiking, fishing and skiing. Always comfortable temps.
Hotel was great for a one night stop on our roadtrip to Montana. More than adequate for a good night's sleep. Really enjoyed the surrounding area - took an early morning dip in the State run hot springs bath house just across the park from the hotel. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect. Pancakes are fun, I guess, coffee left me wanting more. The hot springs were cool to check out and there was lots to do in the immediate area. The Wyoming Dinosaur Center was incredible and well worth the stop and the entrance fee to check out!
Cody
I stayed with my 2 adult daughters and my 2 granddaughters, room size was small but sufficient for us all. Hotel definitely had an age gone by era about it, which was perfect for us. My big girls and little girls had so much fun in the outdoor pool, you don't see those everyday in Wyoming. The horse rides were the hit of the show for my oldest (almost 4 yr. old) granddaughter. Had some great visits with other guest. Well recommend to friends with kids that are visiting Cody. It was a nice stay.
Sheridan
The owner met me at check in and it's evident the family is proud of their hotel. It is an older building but very clean, newly painted & decorated, modest breakfast with COFFEE! A few things needed attention (light bulbs, microwave) but the bed was comfortable, easy check in/out. I will stay here again when passing thru the great state of Wyoming. If you want quiet, ask for a room on the second floor on the back side of the building, then you can open your curtains/window.
I stayed at a very same hotel on my way to wyoming in Burley, ID. The hotel in Burley was extremely pleasurable. This Hotel was no where near the same value. The breakfast was lacking in many categories. The only vending machines in the building only worked 1/3 of the time. The Pool was not open, which my kids were looking forward to. The room had only two trash cans placed in very inconvenient places. I could go on and on but all in all this was a HUGE dissapointment!
Gillette
This hotel was awesome. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very nice. Continental breakfast was the best. Scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, sausage gravy & biscuits, fresh fruit, pancakes and waffles, juices, soda and coffee, donuts, English muffins, toast, etc. The location was perfect distance from the Western Welding Academy, which is why we were visiting Wyoming. Beautiful place. Will definitely be back.
Quick stay in Gillette. Hotel was easily accessible and close to restaurants, pharmacy and grocery store. Walked to the Wyoming Rib and Chop House, which was very good. Room was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy; staff was friendly. Exercise room was nice and clean. We would stay there again.
Cody
This is a fun and funky place to stay. It's just outside of town, but you get to enjoy the Wyoming countryside. We saw deer from our deck and pronghorn antelope on the drive out. Great breakfast and charming hosts. We stayed in the 1890's sheep herder's wagon. Where else do you get to do that? We had a blast!
We really appreciated Amy. She welcomed us, including our basset hound Wyatt, with open arms. The hotel is very convenient for traveler's in southeastern Wyoming. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They have a nice area set aside for pets. The burritos at the adjacent Mexican restaurant are huge and delicious.
The hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The key card that opens the door is the RFID type that you just tap against a pad by the door which works very well. There was plenty of parking and it is right next to the University of Wyoming campus by the War Memorial stadium.
I liked the personal touches that make it feel homey and not like every other hotel room. The curtains, valances, the leather chair, the shower curtain, western lampshades all say I’m staying in Wyoming! The decor downstairs was awesome and the overall unique story of the mill is worth the stay and the reason we stayed here!
I had access to a full refrigerator and microwave. I could save money by cooking my own oatmeal in the morning. :) The value for the room was perfect; the room was newly renovated too. Compared to the 3-star hotel in Nebraska, this stay in Wyoming was much, much better. I highly recommend!
Jackson
The Wyoming Inn of Jackson is wonderful - the rooms are comfortable, unique, and quiet. The restaurant has a great huveos ranchos and the staff is first rate. The hotel is pretty convenient (of course, Jackson Hole is pretty small), and the parking is free. Highly recommend.
Everything! We have been to 10 hotels over our 15 day trip from Maryland to Wyoming and this is hands down the best hotel. Breakfast was delicious and perfect. What was expected but never got anything close at any other hotel. The kids pool made my daughters trip!!
Really good breakfast, great location close to I-25 and Wyoming BLVD. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean room and great room service. Nice swimming pool and spa. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I'm in Casper.
comfortable bed, pleasant front desk clerks, clean room. the potato, egg and sausage scramble at breakfast was unexpected and tasty. we stay in Cheyenne to eat at the Wyoming Rib and Chop House, and this hotel is right down the road from that.
For some reason, all the hotels in Wyoming are overpriced, as compared to other non Metro areas. This is an excellent hotel, but a little pricey. The options didn't look good, so we chose this one, glad we did.
Jackson
Location, location, location!!! this property doesn’t have any frills, but who comes to Wyoming to stay in their hotel? Angie and Brandy at the front desk were awesome and have great recommendations.
Manager is amazing goes above and behind to make sure you're stay here is good and your comfy I reccom3nd this hotel if your traveling thru sheridan wyoming ...it's quiet...safe ..and clean
Cody
Hotel outside of town near 3 lakes, birdwatching, nice easy breakfast with great coffee. 1/2 hr from elk, buffalo, eagles, pronghorn and gorgeous Wyoming scenery and much more. Love Cody
Cheyenne
First time in Cheyenne Wyoming. We did not know the area so were skeptical about the location and quality of the hotel. It was super clean and convenient. Thank you for a great stay.
