Our stay at Karanga River Lodge was really great! Spacious room with a nice bathroom and shower. The pool was really nice and every day the staff put out chairs for us by the pool so that we could sunbathe ☺️ Breakfast was soo good - especially the fruits and fresh juice 😌 We had dinner there every night and the food was always delicious. Thank you!

I truly had a wonderful stay at the Shose Chalets! This property provided a lovely relaxing retreat after finishing my Kilimanjaro climb. The chalet was larger than I expected, well appointed and super comfortable. The property owner was very helpful and responsive to my requests and ensured my stay was an enjoyable one. I also have to compliment the restaurant on the excellent food and service. Great value for money here. I would stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone considering staying here.

The place is really nice and comfy. The manager Tiophil can help you with everything and takes really good care of you. All the other staff member are also very friendly, helpful and always have a smile for you. The room was better and bigger than expected and so worth the money. The breakfast is amazing!!!

Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout the property, Ameg Lodge Kilimanjaro offers accommodation in Moshi. The hotel features a year-round outdoor pool, a fitness centre and views of the mountain. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the pool area is excellent for relaxing. Also the food in the restaurant was quite good. I would definitely book it again!

Amazing stay! First stop in mainland Tanzania and was just spectacular. Mille took care of all of our needs, cars, trips even my husband's dairy free birthday cake. Food was vegan/vegetarian and delicious at a fair price. Wifi worked great. Had a generator so that even when the power went out it came back on almost immediately.

We stayed here one night before hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and two nights when we finished the hike. We would definitely recommend at least a two night rest after the hike! We were a bit ill from the hike so it was an excellent place to rest and recover, the staff would check in on how we were and there is a pharmacy a short walk down the lane too (if required). We really liked how it was quiet, set in a garden (monkeys, birds and tortoises are often around to watch) and a little away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Moshi- it was a lovely small lodge great for avoiding large big built up hotels. The pool area was kept really clean and tidy with plenty of loungers for all guests. There were plenty of other seating options around too, including private table and chairs by your room. The beds in the room were super comfortable with mosquito nets and a fan that kept you at a good temperature. It was nice to have the communal areas open air with traditional roofed ‘gazebos’. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind. There was an area you can securely leave your main/large bags if needed and there is a laundry service. The food was tasty, with vegetarian options, we tried to burgers, pizzas and evening meals (this was a small menu that they put on a chalk board for you to choose from in advance). The evening meal food is super tasty! The breakfast was just alright, as it was a buffet-style which isn’t how we would prefer it.
