The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the property well maintained. In addition, the owners were very accommodating when we needed to make changes to our booking. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip.

Amani Hotel Paje mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, teres dan bar di Paje. This was a beautiful place to stay, we spent 7 nights here and loved every minute of it. The property is a short 2-3min walk from the beach. The rooms are large and well furnished with all the basics you would find in a normal hotel/B&B in Europe. The bathroom is very big and the water pressure is really good. Hot water comes on quickly. The bed may be slightly on the firm side, but this didn’t bother us. The next best thing is the food! Breakfast is copious and delicious, but all the other meals are also very well prepared. Everything is fresh and tasty.

BaraBara Eat&Sleep - Eco Boutique Hotel mempunyai basikal percuma, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Paje. I was hosted and offered coconut water upon my arrival. Nicole and the staff were always very helpful and dedicated to making my stay pleasant. The breakfast is to die for. So many great options and all so delicious. Sad I couldn't try them all. Love how they are environmentally responsible.

Very friendly staff and amazing food! The rooms were spacy and clean. Kameleon Blue is the perfect place if you want to escape from the crowdy places. We can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to see the more quite areas of Zanzibar.

The location was very quiet and peaceful, and yet only a few minutes taxi ride to the town center. The hotel was clean, well looked after and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
