Dar Saida Beya is very centrally located in Tozeur, and still a safe haven without street noice when inside. Staff are very friendly and will do their utmost to make it a good stay.

Dar Hi is a design hotel 1 minutes’ walk from Nefta’s palmgroves in southern Tunisia. A natural hot spring heats the outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy a hammam and spa treatments on site. Dar Hi was easily one of the best places we've stayed -- beautiful facilities, delicious organic food (both dinner and breakfast was included), peaceful venue overlooking the palms, interesting architecture, kind staff (we received great recommendations and one staff member helped us find a great tour), and the pool which was warmed by natural springs was so fun to swim in. It was easy to tour the Star Wars site, the medina, and oases in the desert from this Dar.

It looks better in person than in the pictures. The rooms were very cute and cozy. The staff were nice and let us (and other people) stay in the common areas even after check-in. Jalloul was so helpful giving his recommendations on what to do around. The dinner was SO good and they were flexible in terms of food choices even though it was late and it’s not like they have a chef. The entire experience felt homey and great overall.

Maison D’Hote is a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Tozeur and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Golf de Tozeur. The owner, Mr.Tayeb, advised and helped me with tours and transportation. His maison d'hote is beautiful, rooms are large and confortable, breakfast is plenty and delicious. I strongly recommend Dar Fatima!
