Dar Hi is a design hotel 1 minutes’ walk from Nefta’s palmgroves in southern Tunisia. A natural hot spring heats the outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy a hammam and spa treatments on site. Dar Hi was easily one of the best places we've stayed -- beautiful facilities, delicious organic food (both dinner and breakfast was included), peaceful venue overlooking the palms, interesting architecture, kind staff (we received great recommendations and one staff member helped us find a great tour), and the pool which was warmed by natural springs was so fun to swim in. It was easy to tour the Star Wars site, the medina, and oases in the desert from this Dar.

This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms. Dar Saida Beya is very centrally located in Tozeur, and still a safe haven without street noice when inside. Staff are very friendly and will do their utmost to make it a good stay.

Located in Tozeur, just 2 km from the town centre, El Mouradi Tozeur offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and terrace with bar. Tozeur-Nefta Airport is a 5-minute drive away. The hotel was well located close to the Airport. The lady in the Reception ( Besma ) was very professional, nice and best smile ever, good presentation uniform clean and badge visible. She was always helpful and answered all my queries, she is an asset for the chain Mouradi. Bar staff polite and professional ( specially Otman ). I would recommend the hotel, definitely will go back

Located close to the desert and halfway between the tourist district and the town centre, Residence El Arich welcomes you in an elegant building and is 3 kilometres from the airport only. When I arrived I received a very nice welcome from the gentleman at reception, who offered me a choice of two rooms to see which I preferred. I was happy with my quiet room looking towards the garden. It was cleaned very well and the bed was comfortable. The fridge worked fine. There were different spaces to sit outside the hotel, including a little garden area at the back. The town is easy walking distance, as is the bus station and louage. The lady offering breakfast was kind and helpful, and I appreciated the simple but filling breakfast. Both the gentlemen on reception were so friendly and gave me advice on how to take the bus to Tunis. Thank you very much to all the team for helping me to have a good stay in Tozeur!

Situated in Tozeur, 49 km from Ong Jemel, Dar Yomma provides air-conditioned accommodation and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. It looks better in person than in the pictures. The rooms were very cute and cozy. The staff were nice and let us (and other people) stay in the common areas even after check-in. Jalloul was so helpful giving his recommendations on what to do around. The dinner was SO good and they were flexible in terms of food choices even though it was late and it’s not like they have a chef. The entire experience felt homey and great overall.

Maison D’Hote is a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Tozeur and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Golf de Tozeur. Incredibly friendly owners who are very open to having conversations with their guests. Travelled in the low season so had our room upgraded for free as they hadn’t many guests during our stay. The homecooked dinner we ordered was delicious, as was the breakfast which was included. This is what a bed & breakfast/Maison D’Hôtes should be and set a high bar for the rest of our travels in Tunisia.
