The beach isn't far from the hotel either in terms of access. We had a great stay.

Situated in La Libertad, 1.4 km from Playa San Blas, Sunset Surf Villa features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Beyond what I expected when I stepped through the back gate low and behold a piece of paradise. Exactly what the pictures show and some. Nor did I expect a hot rain shower after only experiencing cold showers elsewhere. The pool and gardens are spotless . The 2 custom made bunks in the room sport a privacy curtain large drawer each as well as lockers that custom fit the steps going to the top bunk brand new comfortable mattresses. Each bed has their own socket and night light along with a shelf. A lot of work and effort has gone into the design of this hostel very upmarket. It is in a quieter part of this region which I personally enjoy . 6:00a.m yoga on the beach with Serena the yoga instructor was beautiful followed by free coffee listening to what surf the waves were bringing for the day. They have a daily bike rental which I used to go to El Tunca (half hour stopping for a water on the way at the oyster stalls ...which I didn't have🤢) Half hour walk to La Libertad and a nice walk along the Malecon. Lots of restaurants along the beach heading East don't look the greatest but food good just keep youre eyes open. No restaurant here although large organised kitchen to self cater as well as bbcue area. There's fun organised nightly activities if you want to participate( ends at 10p.m which suited me)
