Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. Amazing location overlooking the shipping straight between Värmdö and Rindo. Lovely helpful staff.

Surrounded by nature, Marholmen is located 350 metres from a private beach in the Roslagen Archipelago. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant. Superb surroundings and grounds. A shame we were only staying one night otherwise we could have explored more. Food excellent. As we were catching an early ferry the restaurant provided an excellent packed breakfast and hot drinks. Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. The landscapes, the views of nature and open space, the food was absolutely magical, the service staff were all kind and professional and the room was spacious, clean and cozy. They upgraded us for free because we were celebrating our anniversary.
