Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, The Sanctuary Hotel Resort Spa offers accommodation in Port Moresby. The hotel has a spa centre and fitness centre, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. The rooms were larger than expected and clean. The atmosphere was a little oasis in PM, with trees and lush growth. It was pretty awesome to see tree Kangaroos, native deer and other local birds at the hotel. Fish in banana leaf in the restaurant was Yum! The sanctuary hotel staff were the real stars of this location. Super friendly and really wanting to help at every turn. Shuttle service was on time and made the transit easy and smooth. It's really well located close to the nature park (must see), the museum and parliament house. The Australian consulate is nearby also. This place is set up for repeat visits as those who go there will be sure to make it their 'go to' in Port Moresby.It will be our 'go to' when we return.
