Located in Franz Josef, Rainforest Deluxe provides a bar. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a terrace, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. At the hotel, every room has a balcony. Location is amazing surrounded by native bush and birdsong, along with a chorus of cicadas! Restaurant on site was good, very nice atmosphere. Being able to bring our small dog with us was amazing :) Nice to have complimentary wine on arrival and the basic continental breakfast that was delivered was good.

If you prefer hotels that sport new carpets, white walls, spotless furniture, and quietly submissive staff, don't visit the Otira Stagecoach Hotel. It is the exact opposite of all that. And we loved it.
