Featuring water sports facilities and free WiFi, Logies aan de Dam is set in Middelburg. The hotel features family rooms. Dave, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. We parked about a 10 min walk away at a free parking lot, which was great. The property itself has a ton of character, with beautiful, spacious rooms that are very tastefully decorated. The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I loved all the attention to detail the owner has put into the room, such as refreshments and breakfast items in the fridge, and robes, and I LOVED the various flavors of fresh tea provided with beautiful tea glasses. The location is also great, very quiet at night but super close to shops and restaurants, etc. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here when visiting Middelburg, NL. It's a charming, traditional town in Zeeland.
It's a charming, traditional town in Zeeland. We enjoyed that we had to cross a narrow tunnel to get in and out of the town, it felt like a secret little treasure. If we had stayed longer we would have gone on a bike to the salty marshes or on a tour with ship to see seals. We ate fresh fried fish at a harbour, it was a simple but excellent food for even our kids. I would offer it to anyone!
