Set on the beautiful beach of Holbox Island, this accommodation offers privacy within a walking distance from the town centre. Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a... I would highly recommend Palapas del Sol. It is about 10-15 mins walk to the main town, past other hotels and along the beach. The walk is very safe to do, in fact the whole island is very safe. I preferred being a little outside of the main town as the town is quite noisey with music and taxi carts. I found that all of the really nice hotels were out close to Palapas del Sol. The hotel itself is right on the beach and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and you can WhatsApp them anything you want throughout your stay. You WhatsApp them every morning with your breakfast order and whether you would like it in the restaurant, at the beach bar, at the beach or at your room and they deliver it there. They were also very helpful with organising transfers to and from the island and tours. I had read some reviews that people have difficulty getting beach beds but I didn’t find this at all, they have lots of beds on the beach and also lots at the front of the hotel which is about 20metet walk from the sea. Highly recommended

Staff were so lovely. We’ll come back here next time!!

The whole place is stunning. The staff friendly and helpful. You have your own butler to help you while you stay. The cenote is stunning. Beautiful to swim in with the fishes. Way better than a normal pool. There is also a pool and jacuzzi area which is stunning with a swim up bar. Our room had the wow factor with our own terrace and jacuzzi. The food was exceptionally tasty at dinner and breakfast and was so much choice it was hard to pick. They help you with your bags and car. The location is very good close to all the beach hotels in the hotel zone of Tulum. I really hope one day we can stay here again. The music they play throughout is very hip and relaxing. I immediately just felt relaxed and looked after here. Very good value for money especially considering we experienced other hotels in this area of tulum.

The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the carefully chosen furnishings to the thoughtfully curated artwork. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring local flavors and international cuisine. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The attentive waitstaff and inviting ambiance added to the overall dining experience. A big shoutout to Mara!!!! She´s the most helpfull concierge I´ve seen in Tulum. I can't wait to go back!
