The restaurant was exceptional in regards to the food which was very gourmet, the atmosphere very inviting and the staff very warm and friendly. The hotel is quite small so it felt like a family with the other guests and staff. The location was a convenient 3 minute walk to beautiful Playa Bocana which was the best beach for walking that we discovered in the Huatulco area. It was also fun to watch the surfers ride the huge waves and the local fishermen fishing from the shore. The beach is also know for mud baths and very inexpensive massages. Enjoying the sense of community in the neighbourhood the way that neighbours of higher and lower standards of living could co-exist side by side. Always felt safe. When the staff called a taxi it always arrived within a few minutes.

At first I was anxious because on road side it looks rustic, but as soon as you step in you're transported to a gorgeous grown up resort style feel. It's very well done with well kept gardens and the beach is right there with beds for use. There is a little beach bar and the food is amazing. The room is better than it looks in the photos. It was easily the best place we could have booked. It's short walk down the beach to the bars and restaurants. Air con was good. Bed was super comfy. Shower was great.
