Within blocks of major tourist sights, the cathedral, House of Blackheads and City Hall, St John's Church etc. Also within a 15-20 min walk from the bus station and markets. We had the one room appt which was very spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was a great selection of hot and cold food. Price was extremely reasonable for the amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

This 4-star hotel Baltvilla is located 15 km from the centre of Riga, on the shore of a lake with a private beach area and on the Via Baltica highway (E67). Everything was perfect. We had booked three rooms for the whole family, junior suite, triple and double room. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, wi-fi was fast enough. Breakfast was good also, variety of options every morning.

Metropole Hotel by Semarah is located in a historical building from the 19th century, set in the Riga’s Old Town. It offers elegant classic-style hotel rooms with free Wi-Fi access. The hotel is at the edge of old town, quiet area, close to train station (we came by train). I had warned the hotel that we will arrive far before noon, but the rooms were already ready for us. A very convenient place if the evening plan is to walk in the old town, a good restaurant and the opera. Simple room, but clean, tidy, and as for me, extremely comfortable bed. Great, various, abundant breakfast, fast replenishment. A separate observation about the staff, they were very attentive, worked quickly, had answers to all questions, Igor was one of the best my ever meet receptionist :) I have booked 7 rooms and all my friends can share the same opinion.
