We were planning to stay 3 days and stayed a week. Super lovely staff, super comfortable place. The view is amazing. Hard to find this kind of place in Sri Lanka.

This hotel is only 7 months old and it exceeded all of our expectations. Room was spacious and we loved the design. They had an amazing pool with a lovely garden view. Staff was extremely helpful, they even made us custom breakfast and let us have a late checkout for free. The hotel manager Sandunmalh was very professional.

Smeralda provided everything I could have hoped for my vacation. The perfect location right on the beach, a comfortable room, and delicious Italian food every night. The hotel is a short walk from surf rental shops right on the beach, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helped arrange all the details for a nearby massage. I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet vacation away from some of the more crowded beaches.

Private beach access steps away! It's so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was so filling, staff kept bringing out more dishes. It rained the day I was to check out and I decided to stay another night. It was the best decision of my trip!

The location is perfect, near the best beaches in town and a lot of restaurants are nearby. Totally recommend!

Free WiFi is offered.... Location is good and the view from the room is nice. The beach is nice and the hotel owner offered us a snorkeling set. Unfortunately we didn't see any turtle. Besides that there's not much sealife. We stayed 2 nights and we liked that there was some variation in the breakfast.
