We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Elepath Lodge- Pinnawala is gelegen in Pinnawala, op 34 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Het was geweldig! Perfecte locatie, de olifanten lopen recht onder je neus door en je kunt vanaf hier zo naar de rivier lopen zonder ticket te kopen. Kamers zijn groot en het bed is kingsize. Heel vriendelijk personeel en heel schoon.

Cafe Pinnalanda ligt in Pinnawala en beschikt over een buitenzwembad op 100 m afstand. Perfect stay at Cafe Pinnalanda, very kind staff, always available to help. Great breakfast as well. Fantastic location just in front of the Pinnalawa Elephant orphanage.

The location is just perfect as the elephants come to wash and cool down in the river that the hotel oversees. Staff were absolutely amazing and so kind and helpful. Facilities - very nice. Really worth a stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cabana. The room was nice and clean, we had a small fridge and hot water shower. Harindra who is working there was always happy to help us and fullfiled all our wishes. We had the best Kottu Roshi in this place. We also enjoyed the Ayurveda massage, it was super relaxing and the best massage we ever had. You really feel that the people are professional. My wife is German and also Banda who gave massage could speak German there to her. Very friendly guy. We also enjoyed the elephants. You can ride on them and take nice pictures and also wash the elephants with coconut husk. Sita was a super friendly elephant 🐘😊 We really had a good time with Harindra and his friends, playing cards and the dogs Chiko and Timi liked playing with us. Thank you so much for everything!
