Ideal for someone who wants to learn surfing. Very lively area with plenty of restaurants around. They even gave us an early check-in for free.

Overall it is a great place to rest! If you want to go swim you have to walk or you can go by tuk tuk 🛺. The beach is clean and the water is warm, plus you can sometimes see turtles and crabs.

I can't express enough how satisfied I was with my stay. Thank you, Merchant Hotel, for creating the best memory of my Sri Lankan trip. Highly recommended!
