I was very lucky to be able to book a room in last minutes right before my arrival to Sri Lanka since this property is highly popular. I’m very happy to experience seeing and feeling Mr. Bawa’s design implementation. The property is very clean and the staffs are very kind and assistive. It’s quiet and calm. No TV, so I don’t get distracted by unnecessary noise. there’s Wifi, but relatively slow, which I don’t mind. I’d love to come back to and stay longer next time.

Cultural shock but must to see with your own eyes. 2 days is good enough to discover. Very intense city with lot of noises and smells, crowded places everywhere, the air pollution is high the trafic is crazy. The people are very kind and helpful. After all Colombo is an interesting experience.

Colombo is definitely not worth visiting, not even for a night. From the airport immediately take the bus or train to your first real stop. Nothing to see, nothing to do, just a busy and grey city.
