The room was spacious, cool and comfortable. The aircon and wi-fi were good. The location was a little out of the way of sights and restaurants but I managed an early morning walk to the river (before it got too hot) and you can use FoodPanda to have food delivered. Breakfast was OK. Best of all was the pool and shower, which you can use after check out and the receptionist who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Situated 500 metres from Laos National Museum, Riverside Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in Vientiane and has a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Seating was a bit limited but it was over a holiday so hotel was quite full. The hotel is very modern, rooms were extremely comfortable. Staff was very accomodating.

Located in Vientiane, within 600 metres of Wat Sisaket and 700 metres of Hor Phra Keo, Phongsavath Boutique Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant. Excellent service from Lixay! (I hope I spelt his name correctly) I stayed here on my first night in Vientiane & it was such good value I came back again for my last night before flying out. The rooms are impeccably clean. On my first night, I stayed at the room beside the road. There can be some noise from traffic at night. On my last night, I requested for a room on the inside & it's quiet. However the airconditioning had some issues and didn't cool the room. Lixay was really helpful to explore options to mitigate the problem and I was satisfied with how the issue was resolved. Throughout the process, he remained calm. His keen customer service and great display of empathy helped to turn the situation around. Highly recommend to stay here if you get a room! Plenty of food options in the area.
