After weeks of 'normal' backpacking hotel we chose Madilao for a little more comfort. It was the best thing that we could have done to chill and relax. We also loved to be a little out of the centre of Luang Prabang (amazing city by the way). Madilao is such a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed every minute of being there. It looks very amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable and the personal is super friendly and took care of all of our request accordingly. A huge thank you to the Madilao hotel and all her staff.

The place is wonderful with amazing staff and a beautiful garden. The room has a lot of space and very clean.

Location is brilliant, room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was perfect. Our favorite part about this hotel was the host - Peter. He was welcoming, helpful and an overall lovely person. On the morning when we were leaving the property, our bus came earlier than expected meaning we would miss breakfast. Peter packed us a breakfast to take with us which we really appreciated. He went above and beyond and made our stay in the hotel a great experience ☺️
