Hotel in Aitong
Overlooking the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, all tents at Fairmont Mara have a private veranda. Game drives, an outdoor heated pool with bar, and massage tents are provided. Our stay was a unique experience that me and my partner will never forget. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Little details everywhere remind you that this is a luxury experience. The food was world-class. But the best thing is the location next to the Mara River. Hearing the hippos bellowing while in bed inside our tent and our game drives early in the morning with an incredibly knowledgeable and expert Masai driver are the kind of things that will stay with us forever.
Hotel in Ololaimutiek
Set at the source of Sekenani River in Masai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Camp Maasai Mara offers an authentic bush experience. It is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for something hidden away in the Masai forest and feels like home. You are nestled amongst the thickness of the masai forest and you wake up to the sounds of birds and monkeys and more. It felt like home the entire time. The people at the camp also make you feel just that. Our fav part was coming back to a cozy bed at the end of a long day with hot water bottles to warm us up.

Awesome location next to an airstrip and on the river bend with the hippos right there greeting you!
Amazing staff, incredible hospitality and attention to detail. Sheilla as a waiter and Dennis as a driver were simply amazing. recommend you ask for a room overlooking the river. We were able to change and that’s why the trip was so great, first we had one in the bushes. now we were woken up by hippos in the morning 😅 Beautiful place and and the best safari I have experienced (been to Naivasha Amboaei and Serengeti before)
Gorgeous setting right on the river! We could see hippos everyday.
It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.
Love this camp. Right in the heart of Mara reserve. View of river is lovely. Not all rooms have view but lodge view is top. Hippos and crocodiles in river. Great sounds at night. Lovely location for exploring Mara. Staff was amazing. Great food and so nice. Hope I return one day
An amazing place for a luxurious safari holiday. The staff were amazing, great service. From the wet towels when you step off the jeep, to the food (amazing chefs), to the room staff. Every time we even stepped out of the tent, our bins were emptied, bed was made (even when we were going to check out), and room set. Game drives were amazing, guides knew their stuff and worked together to find the big 5. We stayed in Giraffe Cliff which was an amazing place. On the first night we had elephants right outside our tent, breaking branches at 1am! Every night the elephants were around, sleeping around the tents, but staff were always on site to guide us with torches if we ever needed to get around. They've thought of everything. We had an amazing time there, and would highly recommend it.
It was very nice. The rooms were massively spacious and so was the resort.
Food Beautiful rooms Excellent customer service
Super comfy, we enjoyed a free upgrade Staff is welcoming and super kind
Spent 9 nights here. The location is great as you're sleeping in the park. Obadiah, the manager, was great. He helped me with everything from game drives to getting a covid test needed to depart. Dennis, my driver/guide, works for Julia's and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & kept in contact with the other guides so we didn't miss a river crossing (or anything else). We saw leopard, plenty of lion, cheetah, hyena, elephants, two river crossings (5000 animals each crossing), cheetah kill, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, crocs, etc. Truly exceptional and once in a lifetime experience. The meals were great. I had pancakes, fresh fruit, & whip cream for breakfast. Eggs, etc are available. Value for money 10/10.
I enjoyed all the meals that were served
