Beautiful relaxing music in the hall. Free transfer from the nearest railway station (Izu Kougen) to the hotel and back next morning after checkout. Extremely friendly staff/owner.

A soli dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Shizuoka. Accanto c'è un centro commerciale con tanti ristoranti, e a pochi minuti il parco con le rovine del castello, il museo archeologico e il museo d'arte. Stanza spaziosa e molto ben tenuta, il perfetto mix tra occidentale e giapponese. Molto pulita. Bellissima la stanza doccia. Tutto automatizzato, checkin e checkout senza personale. C'è l'ascensore (non scontato)

The view from the hotel was amazing, all the staff were very friendly , and went over and above as it was my partners 30th they gave us a free room upgrade and helped me organise a cake for the room on her birthday. The Japanese restaurant was very nice (reasonably priced) as we were only there for two days we did not eat in the french reteraunt outwith breakfast but breakfast had a nice selection which was quite varied, the hot springs were a nice touch to this resort style hotel

Everything! You will not find a more authentic Japanese experience than this inn! I wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately it rained for two days straight… so our sightseeing was cut short…. But staying here totally made the trip worth while!! From the welcome at reception, to the amazing view from our room and everything in between… it was perfect. We stayed in a room with a hot spring bath in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were delivered to our room. The “kitchen” staff were gorgeous! The futons were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We tried the open air bath at night. Such a different experience in the rain. Sitting in a warm bath, under the roof, listening to the rain falling! It was so peaceful. The owners are very kind and gracious. They are the 5th generation of the family to own the ryokan. They even offered us a lift to the station in the morning and helped us with an issue that we had with our tickets. I am definitely returning in the future!

Nice ocean view. Great breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. The onsens are all very pleasant, shaped as edgeless pool. I enjoyed a serene ocean view in the top floor onsen in solitude.

The room was very clean and there was a nice balcony overlooking the river. For the full season the buffet dinner includes all you can eat crab legs and claws, which is always amazing even though they do not provide melted butter as you would expect in per se America.
