The owner of the hotel is a very nice and very helpful. I can see the beatiful view of the mountain from the window of the hotel. The private onsen is very impressive. I got lost because my GPS doesn't work and I got there late at night. Fortunately, I brought the phone number and the name of the hotel in Japanese. The owner is so nice to come to pick me up and take me to the hotel safely.

Superb service from the staff, especially Ms Yen and Ms Chabani Gopali and the chefs who made us two delicious dinners/breakfast the two nights we were there. Good onsen baths and good fun in the "walking" onsen and outdoor warm pools. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. A big thank you for a very relaxing stay.

It was a beautiful property nestled atop a nice restaurant serving local produce. The flat was bright and spacious, it was incredibly quiet at night. Our best stay out of 18 properties we’ve stayed at over a month in Kyushu.

In a prime location in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, 湯布院 おやど花の湯yufuin oyado hananoyu is located 47 km from Oita Bank Dome, 2.7 km from Kinrinko Lake and 32 km from Beppu Station. Very spacious room that comes with its own private onsen. The location is outside of Yufuin however it is still worth considering given the room price versus other hotels. If possible, you could arrange with the owner to pick you up from Yufuin
