Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, 森の宿 ビヨルク is located in Myoko. We had an amazing stay at björk! The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The food was delicious, the room was comfy, and the decoration was charming. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Myoko!

Within walking distance from the station. plenty of restaurants nearby. The room is large enough to open two large suitcases. Room is very clean. Breakfast is excellent. Large variety to choose from. One of the best breakfast in a hotel I have had.

Situated in Niigata, 1.5 km from Toki Messe, HOTEL GLOBAL VIEW Niigagta boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Quite nice modern hotel right next to the station. I have enjoyed the onsen which had two different types of bath with different temperature, which was very good. There is also a sauna and cold water cool. The bed was super comfy and we had a good rest. Wi-fi was fast enough for voice calls. Will be my default hotel option if we go to Niigata again.

The views from the hotel were exceptional and a lovely treat! The staff were very friendly and helpful! We had a very very enjoyable stay and would choose it again the next time we’re in Niigata city!

Just a 6-minute walk from JR Niigata Station, Tennen Onsen Taho-no-Yu Dormy Inn Niigata offers modern rooms with free WiFi, a private bathroom and an open-air public bath. Staff were great, room was larger than average in Japan, but the best part was the onsen Huge bathhouse opened overnight until 10am so you can access it in the evening, at the dead of night or after you wake up. Feel free to grab a popsicle (night) or a yakult (morning) after your bath as it is complimentary.

Room: Traditional Japanese Style. It has a seating area with a view to the mountain. The bathroom has a shower and bath, both. The toilet has its own door so it's separated. Additional bedding in the closet can be used. It's very spacious for a couple. Daily local snacks and hotel newsletters in the room - they are also sold in the hotel store in case you like it. Although it's an older hotel, it's very organized and clean - it gives homey feelings. Hot Springs (Public bath): 28 different styles in two floors, indoor and outdoor. Being in an outside hot spring with a view to the mountain when it's snowing is super comfy. 24 hours access to at least a few. Service: There are robes (Yukata) with many different sizes - it can accommodate tall people. Women have even more options, colorful ones. Transportation to/from Yuzawa JR train station is available. Staff is very friendly. Some may not speak English, but we didn't expect that they would as we are in their country and we should be the ones trying to speak their language. We didn't experience any difficulties due to language. Breakfast: Many options with chefs cooking on site, such as making grilled fish and omelet. The coffee cups are tiny, but you can use the ones at the western style breakfast session (it has bread and cold milk on the table), and then you will have a small American size coffee. Location: In the center of the town, walking distance to train station, ski resort, and restaurants. We love it and will visit again!

Breakfast is a must for this hotel. I really liked their selection - more than 80 menus to choose. I am so sad to stay only 1 night. Room is spacious and well decorated . Moreover, the hotel is very close to JR Shinkansen station

The price is so good - the rooms are small but for the price you’re paying and if you get your room cleaned everyday, me and my friend had no issues. The location is excellent, we were near a nice milk tea place and close enough to walk to the park to see the cherry blossoms at sunset

Had the most incredible stay at Satoyama Jujo. My wife and I were visiting Japan and in search of a nature retreat from Tokyo for a few nights, and this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The room was quiet and serene, the baths had stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and the food was impeccable. The service was so thoughtful as well; on our last day we were snowed in and couldn't get back to Tokyo, but the hotel made sure we could extend our reservation one night and offered a complimentary taxi to the train station the next day. Hope to be back again one day!

It is one of the best ski resorts for beginner. The slope is a good challenge for newbies and the lift ticket is cheap and not crowded at all. I can get to snowboarding right in the back of the hotel. I would recommend it for families with elderly and kids. The dinner is included and it is very good and delicious.
