Situated in the centre of Kyoto, 300 metres from TKP Garden City Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. I recently stayed at the ALA Hotel Kyoto, and I was very impressed with the hotel overall. The hotel is located in a very convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. This makes it very easy to get around the city, as the JR pass is very convenient for using public transportation. There is also a 7-Eleven just across the street, which is very convenient for picking up snacks and drinks. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, even with the double twin bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a TV, refrigerator, and plenty of outlets. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious, and it had a nice soaking tub. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. For example, one day I asked the front desk staff for help finding a map of the city. They were able to give me a map and even circle the main tourist attractions, which was very helpful. Overall, I had a very positive experience staying at the ALA Hotel Kyoto. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Kyoto.

Great staff, nice buzz around the reception/coffee shop/bakery area. We made sure we had a big enough room to fit our suitcases and it was perfect. Fab to have the option to eat in the hotel restaurant and a roof top drink. Fab location to walk around Kyoto. We did about 20,000 steps every day!

Aamupala oli todella monipuolinen ja riittoisa. Ravintolan tilat olivat tilavat ja viihtyisät ja peilasivat mukavasti hotellin teemaa. Sijainti oli rauhalline ja lähellä rautatieasemaa, jolla pääsi helposti Kioton aseman kautta kulkemaan ympäriinsä. Yksityiskylvyt tarjosivat hyvän vaihtoehdon rentoutumiseen, vaikka kiireelliseen aikaan niihin joutuikin jonottamaan hetken. Välipalaa oli tarjolla vuorokauden ympäri, eikä hotellilta juurikaan olisi ollut tarvetta poistua majoittumisen aikana.

Alkaen € 23 per yöSijainti oli rauhallinen, mutta silti lähellä Nijon asemaa. Ympärillä oli paljon ravintoloita ja Kioton keskustaan ja nähtävyyksiin pääsi nopeasti. Majoitus oli viihtyisä ja siisti. Tilat olivat pienet, mutta se ei ole yllätys Japanissa. Yhteinen huone oli hyvä ja viihtyisä. Tommy-san oli todella mukava ja ystävällinen. Täällä kehutut aamiaisleivät todella olivat erinomaisia! Lisäksi kiitos lainattavasta suoristusraudasta :)

Japanilainen aamiainen oli erinomainen, myös erilainen jokaisena kolmena päivänä. Sympaattinen omistajapariskunta neuvoi paikallisliikenteestä ja kertoi Kioton nähtävyyksistä. Hyvät bussi- ja metroyhteydet kaupungin kaikille puolille.

Hotellihuone oli perinteinen japanilainen tatamipatjoineen ja yakataneineen. Huone oli tilava ( meitä oli neljä aikuista) ja hiljainen. Sijainti oli loistava, Kioton rautatieasemalle käveli n. 20 minuuttia ja keskusta oli myös kävelymatkan etäisyydellä. Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä ja matkalaukun sai jättää säilöön iltaan saakka.

Sijainti oli loistava, lähellä Kioton asemaa. Hotelli oli erittäin siisti. Buffet-aamiainen oli hyvä. Huoneen ikkunasta oli upea näköala Kiotoon. Erittäin hyvä hotelli tässä hintaluokassa.

It is hard to fault the hotel Kanra in Kyoto. From the moment you walk in the doors the hotel feels luxurious and calming. The staff are helpful and made our stay seem less and easy giving recommendations and guidance. The rooms are large and beautifully fit out. The highlight of the stay is the bathroom fit out with the beautiful bathtub.

The rooms were big, clean and very original. It was a pleasure to visit and I can't wait to come back. There is a sento bath 1 minute away so I never got to try the shower/bath in the room though.

The traditional atmosphere, the setting, especially the bath. In addition, the extremely helpful staff really made our stay pleasant. I recommend the Japanese breakfast if you want to experience high-end Japanese food!

It was close to the central train station. It was close to a few convenient stores and was also close to some of the past establishments we went to last time. If ever you get hungry you can just walk a few meters and go down the subway to find a few restaurants and coffee shops. It you walk a little further you can reach the main station to find even more shops. This location is very ideal. We will book this place again next t time. It was a small APA branch so there was not a long wait at the elevators. The front desk staff was very helpful in last minute request for my mom and sister/s room to be moved to a corner unit. They were also able to transfer me to a different room when i complained of noise. They are also helpful in arranging our luggage delivery to Osaka and gave us a discount. They also let us leave our backpacks on our last day so we can still roam around Kyoto.
