Ang Astoria ay isang family-run na 4-star hotel sa simula ng seaside promenade ng Rapallo. Staff make you feel like home, from the reception to the housekeeping. They were caring and so friendly and professional. We got served a welcome drink on arrival, which was a great touch. They can organise anything for you, from car transfers to boat trips. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of italiand breads, sweets, cheeses and meats, as well as some hot options. Room was spacious and clean, with a great view and all the facilities we needed. Location was perfect, right across from the beach, near many restaurants and about 100 metresfr the ferry terminal, which goes to Portofino, Santa Margherita and other beaches. During our stay, there was also a special drinks / finger food happy hour event organised by the hotel, which was a great opportunity to meet staff and other guests. Highly recommended.

The highest level of service, attention and attitude towards clients. Yes, the hotel may have some imperfections in the decoration of the rooms - it is not new, but it definitely has the spirit of the old school five-star luxury hotels that you feel when you cross the threshold. Classic disign, paintings on the walls, waiters in the white uniform... For us - we really liked everything - the quality of the room, the bed, the view, the service. Very tasty breakfast. Well equipped gym, heated pool. Free parking. Will return here again with great pleasure.

Extra touches with a welcome gift, snack, bottle of Prosecco, and a nice spread of breakfast foods and coffee. Was amazing. The owner and her daughter were amazing hosts. In fact, we made a mistake and left our passports in the safe and didn't realize until we reached La Spezia. They offered to drive them out to us and meet us instead of us having to take drive back and gather them. This was an amazing and greatly appreciated gracious favour. We would recommend this property to anyone!!
