Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. This place is the best during my trip. Too bad I stayed here for only one night. Room is clean. Host is very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great!! I felt like they didn't try to save cost on food for you at all. Well, Iceland is expensive in general. So to be fair, compared to other places I have been, this place got the highest value for money. Looks like they are family running the place, and I can see they put attention to details.

Quietly located in western Iceland’s countryside, this hotel is 2 km from the Grábrók volcano in the Borgarbyggd District. It offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor hot tubs and individually decorated rooms. Location and amenities were great, staff was even better- very friendly and helpful!

Set in Iceland’s Westfjords district, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Brjánslækur ferry terminal is a 5-minute drive away. A great place as our last stop in westfjords! There's a N1 gas pump, a free air pump with tire pressure gauge, and a free high pressure washer to clean your car! Just PERFECT after a few days driving on westfjords dirt roads. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Nice room and comfy beddings. Wifi signal not very good but still useable maybe too many people there.

Great room, very comfortable beds! There is also a nice restaurant at the place with great food. Loved the greenhouse with the swimming pool. A big plus, the two dogs and the parrot that are at the place ❤

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Lovely small hotel in a beautiful location. You can park next to the hotel for free, the breakfast is good and the shower is one of the best we have had here with good pressure.

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. It was a great place to stay on the quiet island.
