Welcome to Aurora Lodge Hotel, where adventure awaits! Our complex of 8 charming buildings sits right on the banks of the East Rangá River, just a stone's throw from the Icelandic Route 1 (Ring Road)... After chatting with the lady who works there, we understood the hotel is actually a fishing club and doesn’t open for public in the fishing season. We were lucky! By the way, the hot water here was real hot spring from the underground. Very nice place!

I loved absolutely everything about this manor. It was refined-country, cozy, crisp, and sophisticated-for-Iceland without being pretentious or minimalistic. Painted wooden panels, lush couches and beds that you sink into, spacious bathrooms. Beyond the decor being truly attractive, the staff was always smiling and helpful. After a freezing trip under the Seljalandsfoss waterfall's spray, I felt my extremities again in their clean sauna and further rejuvenated in the pool looking directly out into the landscape. Food was delicious with intriguing combinations of tastes. Parking was free and plentiful, access from the main road was simple, yet removed from the fray. I highly recommend this hotel/manor.

360 Hotel & Spa is situated in Selfoss. Each guest at the 4-star property can enjoy views from the rooms. The property features a shared lounge. At 360 Hotel & Spa, every room comes with a desk. The hotel is located on the hill with a 360 view so the name is to the point. It is modern, very well furnished. Each room has a glass wall through which you see surrounding nature. Breakfast is great and the diner is 10/10 with very tasty and beautifully served food. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is large. We enjoyed each day the SPA side of the hotel with Sauna, hot pool with water full of minerals, then colder small pool outside, cold barrel and our favorite jacuzzi with hot water on the top of the hill outdoors from where we could observe the sunset right behind the mountain. Hotel has its own parking, a small bar with a good selection of drinks. We stayed there for 5 nights, organizing trips back and forth to various wild destinations. We really enjoyed relaxing there every evening, spending time at the spa, having great food and a glass of good wine looking at the surrounding nature. The owners, their 2 cute dogs and hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. We recommend this small, nice, modern design beautique hotel.
