Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. A very beautiful and peaceful environment. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Located by the harbour in Höfn, this property is surrounded by Hornafjördur’s outdoor activity possibilities. Guests can enjoy mountaineering, snowmobile glacier trips and ice climbing in the area. There are two famous restaurants near the hotel . And it used card key not the original key that’s easy for me to enter the room. In the morning, I can see the sea view which is very cool

I loved the hospitality and hygiene at Arnanes. Everything looked so clean and nice. And also the way the hotel is situated in nature is amazing. A great view upon the mountains, that's even more beautiful with sunrise and sunset! The owners were very friendly and always in for a chat, and even some sightseeing and aurora advice. Bonus for Dutch travelers: the owner also speaks a good amount of Dutch! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel if I visit Iceland again. Really enjoyed my stay there.

We really enjoyed the local flavor for breakfast. There was a nice variety with veggies, eggs, and homemade goodies - bread, pastries, and jam. They offered fish and meats too. Free coffee and tea all day! We had vegan burgers for dinner that were very filling and tasty. We found the room to be spacious and very clean. There was only soap available in the room. The staff was great, so nice and responsive before arriving. There was a cute gift shop too. I liked all the animals on display. Fantastic location to visit Diamond Beach and Glacier Lagoon, it's only 25 minutes and worth the drive especially for the value.

The staff is very friendly, they made very good recommendations for things to do nearby and were very understanding of the fact that we had roads closed due to the weather.

Hotel Skaftafell ligger flott til med praktfull utsikt mot Islands høyeste fjell, Hvannadalshnjukur og Europas største isbre, Vatnajökull. breakfast was very good and the room had all you need.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Our stay in this hotel was amazing. We had everything we needed. There was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The room was clean and comfortable for group of 3. Tasty breakfast with a lot of options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great mountains view from the window. Around 10 minutes to the big supermarket. I would like to come back to this place again.
